I don't have experience with any other drones. The battery is sophisticated in that it automatically slowly discharges when not being used to extend life. You can monitor the amount of life left in the battery based on number of charges/discharges. Only complaint is flying time is 20-30 minutes. Longer flying time would be nice.

I would suggest at least one to two additional batteries for your drone. flying for only 20+ minutes is never enough.

Considering this is the only battery on the market for phantom 3 I have nothing to compare it to. But in my experience it's a great battery and easy to use.

This battery is awesome, because it's the only choice you have for this drone. So if you don't like it too bad, and if you think it costs too much,too bad..

After previous poor experience with non OEM batteries on a different brand of drone, I decided it was not worth the risk with more than an entry level drone to purchase off brand batteries. This battery performs perfectly and I would definitely recommend that flyers of drones that are not "toys" buy OEM batteries unless there is compelling evidence to do otherwise.

But my phantom three professional on Black Friday and get a free battery with it. So I've got no complaints seeing how I got $150 battery for free.

When purchasing a Dji Phantom Drone 3, it is wise to buy a second battery, cause your going to spend alot of time with the first battery learning how to use the drone, plus, it is important when you are in the field making a short film or for other events. You might want to buy 3 or 4 more just in case, i recommend it, it will be worth it. NINJA, approved !!!

Great product and lasts between 20-24 minutes but way too expensive

I have to buy a few more. This truly is a must when you purchase any of the DJI's as just one battery leaves you hanging to long to fly again.

No issues with it charging, and just did an update for the new firmware that was for the batteries. Not much you can say about a battery.

Charge fast and charged for the time specified during flight

Factory made spare battery. I bought when on sale for 25 off regular price. Good to have at least one spare for increased flying time.

The DJI Phantom 3 Battery worked exactly as it should. It came out of the box with a minimal charge and was fully charged and in the air with my Phantom 3, within a couple of hours. There isn't really much more to say about a battery, other than that it works.

After researching batteries for my DJI Phantom 3 online, it appeared that the only battery that consistently had satisfactory reliable performance was the one that had the DJI brand. I have used and recharged the battery over 20 times and am totally satisfied. My local Simi Valley Best Buy had this product in stock and on sale.

Good extra battery for my drone...but pretty expensive

This battery was exactly what I needed it replaced one that failed in the past I am going to buy at least two more

Seeing how you need to always start every flight with a fully charged battery (per DJI and everyone I've talked to) it makes owning this Phantom 3 much more enjoyable. I found better prices online but there is always the question of whether it is a knock off / counterfeit. There is no question when buying at Best Buy it's real DJI.
