    Gimble Issue

    This camera worked well for the first 6 months, then the gimble started acting up. Now when you turn it on it immediately goes to a gimble error and is unusable. DJI support so far has been less than desirable. I would NOT recommend this camera especially considering we do not use it very often and are already having problems on a fairly pricey camera.

    One word--complicated. I had high expectations for the size and advertised simplicity. From the packaging, to the setup, to the use, it was complicated.

    External mics are junk.

    Buyer beware. Pocket 2 is nice but the external mic is junk. Mine didn’t work out of the box. Come to find out this is a common issue and they will make you send the whole kit back for warranty repair. 6 weeks later…

    This item’s App was very glitchy and it wasnt very helpful for shooting verticle. Needed to switch on the fly but it wasnt very accomodating to my needs.

    doesn't work with Galaxy Android. Doesn't work with Samsung pro media card. Can't return. Item clearly states Android compatible. Company no help and BestBuy won't take product back.

    Don’t buy it open box

    I buy this open item but to me open item is just open not use but it was missing parts and didn’t work They said that they inspected 100% but I think is only 50%

    I would have taken this camera back if it wasn’t for a huge restock fee. Very fragile and not what I thought it would be. Very disappointed. Now I am stuck with it.

    Very friendly, portable, long battery life. Good quality videos. Slow calibration. Many times records tilted and its dificult to stabilize by switching between view modes. Could benefit from a manual adjustment to the correct angle. Newer competitors may be a better choice.

    I think this Creator Combo has great value! All the items in this pack are things that are useful for using this camera. I love how small and light this camera is and it makes vlogging/filming more convenient. I want to film more videos so having this makes it a lot easier. The video and sound quality of the camera is also great, especially considering how small it is. The stabilizer also works amazing! Best Buy College Crew members receive products to write honest, unbiased reviews. Reviewers have been provided products free of charge and may have received nominal compensation.

    I have a gadget addiction so if it’s electronic, I’ve probably played with it. The Pocket 2 is like nothing else out there. It takes a minute to adjust to using a gimbal but once you do, youll never leave home without this camera

    Will not power on anymore

    I purchased my Pocket 2 brand new from Best Buy in December 2020 and have used it a few times over the past few years. A couple of months ago, after not using it for months, I attempted to use it again, but it wouldn’t turn on despite charging it for hours. In fact, there was a blinking green light that indicated it was at least recognizing the charger. Following the long charging period, I checked online and found other owners with the same or similar issues with their DJI Pocket 2. I even checked on the DJI forum, and there were several similar posts from other owners of their website, but no solution was provided to any of those owners, so I sent mine in to be assessed and repaired. Following the assessment, DJI discovered that the "Handle Functional Module was malfunctioned,which caused failure to power on,no physical damage." This is exactly what the DJI repair team said in their report. Thus, DJI's product malfunction was not damaged or caused by me. My complaint is that their customer service team didn't want to fix or replace it for free because it was out of the warranty period in May 2023. Instead they wanted me to pay, so I did because I wanted my Pocket 2 back, but they didn't send me my Pocket 2 back, they sent me a random refurbished Pocket 2. This seems unethical to me because they acknowledged the issue is a malfunction, not damage, and made me pay for a replacement that comes with only a 15-day warranty. Moreover, the rude behavior of a customer service representative on their team was unacceptable. She appeared to fake a connection issue and hung up on me during my call. In conclusion, I understand that the warranty expired, but for a premium priced product like this to suddenly stop working and they not do anything to fix it at cost to them is unbecoming of a premium company. So, when it works, the Pocket 2 is pretty good at doing what was advertised, but when it doesn't, DJI will avoid taking accountability and correcting the issue. I recommend buying from another premium electronic manufacturer that will honor the quality assurance of its products because DJI will not.

    this is a small but mighty 4k camera. I use it for blogging or just getting studio footage. buy a gimbal off amazon to pair your phone next to it for a few finder

    DJI requires you to install their app and register your Pocket 2 to use it, otherwise it will be locked after 5 uses. You must give access to your contacts, photo/video, location, etc. Intrusive data mining just to use a gimbal camera you've paid for.
