The video and audio quality of the Osmo Pocket 2 is so much better than the original pocket. If you love video taping, but don’t like carrying bulky equipment and want more stability than what your phone can deliver, I highly recommend the pocket 2.

Pick this up for my trip to Asia, it was so easy to operate. I love the little screen that i can monitor on the go but also the easiest way to transfer the videos to my phone. The bundle i got have the excellent wireless microphone also. Quality of the video is always great from DJI products. Well done

This is for the creator combo kit, which adds some nice features. The Pocket 2 itself is a great everyday video camera with great quality and some decent features added via software updates (HDR Video mode is excellent). Some good points: Battery life is surprisingly good. You're not going to go all day, but it's good enough that we don't worry about it. Video quality is awesome. Stablization is good, but it won't stop you from bouncing around if you're walking normally... you have to do some smoothing yourself by how you move.
There are lots of things stopping it from getting a five star review... The built in video screen is miniscule and almost useless. The joystick controller is "on/off", meaning you can pan or zoom with it, but you can't ease in or out of a pan or zoom, making the feature almost useless (I shoot in 4k and pan and zoom in software where I have more control of it). I haven't used the wide-angle lens yet... it seems like that would be for pretty specialized uses only. The wide angle lens has a slot to keep it in in the carrying case, but it falls out all the time. Leave it at home if you don't need it.
The built microphones are okay, but not great. Expect it to sound like you're recording on your cell phone. The remote transmitter is a fantastic idea, but the built in microphone on it is terrible... very muddy and muffled, with our without the wind screen. But, with a $15 lavalier mic added to it, it's great and we use it all the time!
The do-anything handle is a necessity, IMO, as it allows you to use your phone as a screen and controller without physically being connected to the camera. Without that, you'd need to use the USB-C adaptor (included), but that is just setting yourself up to break the port on your phone or the Pocket 2. Of course, if you use the DoAnything add on, it'll make the Pocket 2 not quite so pocketable, and none of the aftermarket cases (or even DJI's cases) fit with it. The add one tripod thingy is a nice thing to have around, but you need to remember to tighten it with a coin like every time you use it.
The software that you have to use for the camera isn't DJI's worst software they've ever released, but it's pretty bad. You are greeted with screens of stuff about devices that aren't the Pocket 2. In order to it to do anything, you need to force it to connect to the camera, which usually requires two or three more clicks than it feels like it should... "Connect to camera. Yes, that camera, the same one I always connect to. Just connect already!" The most recent version of the software is now only available via a sideloaded APK ffrom DJI's site. If you install the app from the Play store, you'll get a notice that you should install it from DJI's web site as it's no longer updated on the store. I can't find any explanation of why this is required and it makes DJI seem a little shadier than they already are.
Oh... Activetrack and autofocus are both pretty bad. ActiveTrack looses track of me just walking down the street or across my lawn. Autofocus hunts just often enough to make me look like a total amateur, even if I'm sitting in a chair talking to the camera with good lighting. We've had to turn it off and just get in the habit of clicking faces every time we record.
Finally, the Pocket 2 isn't the same size as the original Pocket. It's just different enough to make you think existing cases and mounts might work... they don't. The handle will fall out of clamps, stuff won't line up right, buttons will be in the way, etc. Most manufacturers who sell add on stuff just added "works on Pocket 2" for all their original Pocket stuff. Make sure you can return them easily if you want to try that when buying stuff.
There is a "Pro" mode, which lets you shoot D-Cinelike. However, it doesn't seem to be the same Cinelike as any other DJI cameras... none of the colors are "right" when LUTs are applied and DJI doesn't provide a LUT for this device for some reason. We ended up having to use a Colormatch chart for every shoot in order to be consistent.
In short, if you're just looking for something that you can use to upload stablized videos of your random adventures to Facebook, you can probably ignore all the bad points I mentioned and be fine. The Pocket 2 is a good device with great video quality. But, if you're looking for consistent regular shooting that you plan to edit into professional(ish) looking videos, this is a good device, but you're going to have to put in a bit of extra work. Still, it's way easier than setting up a DSLR on a gimbal every day. If it were to break, I'd get another because I don't know of anything else that has the same quality video in that size. But, it still feels like it should be way better than it is.

Good camera, hampered by mediocre software (DJI Mimo). Needs some user interface improvements. Shouldn’t have to break videos into 3.9gb files in 2021. Can’t see on-screen controls in app when shooting light colored backgrounds. Pan and tilt controls could be improved. Need a way to change color. Should retain motion points in panoramic setup. Hate losing them and having to redo it. MyStory videos are cool, needs expanded on. Battery life is always in high demand. Despite those items, still recommend. Lots of cool capabilities. Good quality video.

Love this thing, highly recommend it for anyone with shakey hands due to the built in gimbal. Very simple to use and could make a great camcorder for home movies of for professional work. In my opinion the creator combo is worth it for anyone who could use the extra accessories which to me are essential.

Love the pocket 2 by DJi
Such a small device but packs such power for lots of shooting options
Vlog, cinematic content , mobile interviews great quality and dji is constantly updating software for expansion
I got this over the GoPro hero 9’and no regrets at all
The mic and all in one adapter for WiFi is perfect
Don’t even think about another option at this price range
And YouTube shows a lot of demo and review footage if you need more transparency on its quality
A++

Worth the price if you a big video taker or content creator. Shooting in the highest quality makes it heat up rather quickly and drains the battery faster. The adapters for the phone are garbage and useless as the weight of the DJI causes the connection to cut off. But the Do it all accessory saved the day by Bluetooth pairing.

This thing is incredible. If you’re going on a trip somewhere where there will be a lot of walking, it’s compact enough to not be a burden, but it’s also an incredible device. The quality is amazing, and the gimbal is practically perfect.
The Creator Combo is a must. I can’t imagine using this without it.

I have a first generation and decided this would make a great present for my son who is a legit video producer. So far he likes the ease to use, quality of the images taken while moving and overall quality of the video and photos this unit is capable of collecting. He will be traveling all over europe and will use the pocket 2 to document his travels. Can't wait for his video!

Wish I would have got the Action 2 wearable by DJI instead of this however performance and quality is what you would expect from DJI definitely recommend either a battery pack as battery dies fairly fast with continuous filming and use
Also it does get pretty hot during usage there have been times I've placed it in the case it comes with and place in my pockets and legit is so hot it hurts

This is fun and easy camera with mechanical gimbal. Video quality is pretty good also. I think low light video qualty is better than other smaller camera, such as GoPro, due to they have little smaller censor. The mechanical gimbal video is much cleaner than electrical image stabilizer, especially, on low light situation. The Creator Combo gives more flexibility, like monitoring audio.

Pros, Works good, photo, video quality is great looking, gimbal does a good job of stabilizing video.
Con, it’s a little clumsy trying to take it out of the case, plus the wide angle lens wants to fall out of its magnetic case hold, and when it’s on the camera it’s always saying that wide angle lens is not installed or is.

The ease of this is so fun! I’ve made a couple of videos with the ai editor already and it’s amazing! Great quality, quick and connects to phone easily!
Wish it came with a small bag for all of the items. It’s so tiny and can get lost easily.
Other than that, I recommend buying the combo creator kit!

The image quality is phenomenal! The stability is perfect, of course you have use some self control. There is a slight learning curve, you will have to learn the functions to the device. DJI has really made a great gimbal. Just be willing to pay, it's worth every dime in my opinion for the CREATOR COMBO. I love it! It's always in my camera bag.

I haven’t been able to use it much yet. I would definitely say this is more useful than a GoPro for most people who just want good video in a small package (except for weatherproof scenarios). The combo deal is worth it for the added wireless connection, albeit kind of a gimmick. Still reasonable package for the price and you get a 4K camera on a gimbal that’s smaller than your hand!
