Awsome gimbal! A little tricky to learn but once you do, your off to making smooth videos. I like the features, like saving the speed setting for the joystick so you can adjust the scroll on the fly with just a button push. The base doubling as an extended handle is a nice feature too as well as the app used to calibrate the gimbal.

Put it to work doing some Car rollers and got great stable footage. As long as you can balance before each shoot and make sure everything is tightened down your camera will be balanced on the gimbal when you arrive. I would recommend a 24mm or 35 mm for weight purposes. Overall very happy and definitely an upgrade from my evo rage!

Amazing product! The hard part is calibration. Make sure to download the app first and watch the videos how to set this up within the app. On e you calibrate it , everything is extremely easy! Lightweight, lasts me 7-8 hours of filming (not sports or running, just walking/standing, following objects)

DJI never disappoints! This gimbal is lightweight and easy to use. This being my first gimbal, I had a little trouble with balancing my camera plus lens, but their YouTube Playlist helped out a lot. Loving this gimbal being in my film gear collection!

This gimbal will turn your photography and videography up to the next level! After the somewhat painful setup with my camera, it’s now easy to use. The footage while using this is incomparable to using anything else, the footage is very clear and very professional.

I purchased this to help with filming a wedding for a good friend, and it made the stabilization of the footage so much better. The learning curve for setup is tedious if you have not used a gimbal before, so be prepared to practice a few times before using it properly. All gimbals are like this, so that takes nothing away from my rating. The price of this gimbal is great if you are on a budget, and works well. Accessories will need to be purchased elsewhere, unfortunately. So be aware of that.

This is my third time using the DJI Ronin ( I had two at work) and one I use for personal use. The best gimbal ever. Easy to use and makes my videography work a breeze. The butter smooth shots are very pleasing to the eye. I love it

Best gimbal you can buy without breaking the bank. Solid build that held up in even dusty conditions (don't recommend it) Held my Sony ZV-E10 with a 35-70mm lens perfectly. As soon as you get the balancing process down, its a lot of fun to mess around with.

Brilliant for film production and photography! Very stable! Plenty of versatility! Light enough to use all day yet a bit heavy depending on camera and lense setup. Overall some of the best stability out there.

I absolutely love this. I recently got a mirrorless camera and this is perfect. It's incredibly light and I'm sure my back won't hurt anymore like when I would use the Ronin S Very easy to use, plus you don't have to set it up everytime.

Better than crane, motor lock broke after 6 mos

Compared to my Crane, this feels way more solid and sturdy. It's easier to balance than the original crane. I load it with a vlogging microphone, sony a6400, and sigma 16mm lens and it is violently strong and fast and quick in it's movement. I wish it had an ability to control the camera's zoom when matched with other lenses though, that's what it's missing. The DJI app is better than the Zhiyun one too, and from DJI, their customer support is great. One of the locks that hold the motors for storage and when balancing broke on mine after about 6 months and DJI send a replacement sticker to send it in.

Had Ronin-S and switched to this because I also switched to a Mirrorless Camera. If yousing a small mirroless camera, this is the gimbal you are going to want, just easier to balance and better ease of use.

This is a fantastic gimbal! It does everything I expected and more. The Dji app allows for additional filming techniques such as hyper lapse, time lapse, moving time lapse, and barrel roles. It can hold my Sony A7iii with my 24-70mm but that is pretty much it anything more strains the motors. The great thing about this gimbal is you can use the app to have the gimbal automatically adjust the motors after the camera is balanced which allows you to have optimal movement. This gimbal is portable, compact and great for travel but remember it is best used for smaller setups.

    Amazing Gimbal, Software Downfalls

I really wanted to love this gimbals and in fact I did. Only until after wanting to add the DJI Raven eye to my setup. ( to use Active Track without having the phone on the gimbals). I realized that this feature is unavailable to this gimbals. You can only use active track by having the phone a top the camera which severely limits move ability. If you don't need the software side and just need a good gimbal to use with your camera this one is solid. I just didn't want to have to end up buying another one later just to use a feature or two. I exchanged for the Ronin RSC2

So my husband and I are getting deeper into our video game. We got this Ronin for a couple of it’s features and the price point. We use the Ronin with our Canon M50. Everything works great on it except for the Active Track feature. I don’t know if it’s a balancing issue or a software issue but it goes crazy after a sec. That’s very complicated but everything else works perfectly. Balancing it isn’t hard at all and it’s easy to detach the camera too. The basic use of it is phenomenal! I love being able to control its speed and it’s not to heavy. Not mad at all at this purchase just really wanted that Active Track feature to work.

The gimbal just can’t handle the additional weight when you Mount the included phone holder to the camera for ActiveTrack Pro. I bought the SC due to a recent price drop after the launch of the RSC2, but I’m not sure DJI plans to support this product long term. Hopefully, the SC supports the new RavenEye module they’ve launched to circumvent this problem. Overall, it’s still a great gimbal, but you cannot ignore the shortcomings when you want to step up your video shooting.
