Using with Sony A7C and Tamron 17-28 and Tamron 28-73. Have to rebalance if change lens. Have not tried a longer lens. If balanced with A7C screen closed then flipping out the A7C screen stresses the motors but not enough to force automatic shutdown. For me this is not a one hand device. Have added a handle grip accessory. That item adds weight, but trades off for ease of handling and carrying. Also, the handle has cold shoe mounts allowing me to put the phone on the handle, not the camera for panorama and timelapse. I was patient and watched YouTube how-to-balance videos to see what non experts did to get balance through trial and error. Buttons and joystick favor right hand operators. Usually I am too involved monitoring the camera view to look at the SC buttons and lights. I am learning to operate the SC by feel. When setting up for a session turn on the SC before turning on the camera; else I get cable errors. Prefer to use the SC to reduce shake over Sony IBIS and Catalyst. Have not had the opportunity to video fast action, only slow walks, slow pans and slow "diagonal" tracking. Still doing trial and error with when to use ninja walk. For my expected use of stationary slow pans of landscape, large indoor rooms, and slow moving trains, airplanes, water craft, the SC may be a good tool at the right price.

Gimbal maybe a little confusing at first to use but when you get the hang of it, it makes your content look way more professional versus a regular camera holder. Compared to other gimbals priced way higher youll find that this gimbal is more than enough.

I have a mirrorless camera and it works well. Specifically an EOS RP. I will say balancing kind of sucks. My camera in particular is right front heavy. There is not much clearance after adjustment so the hot shoe is a little useless. The case it comes in feels cheap but it also is useful for management when you need to pack.
Otherwise, it is pretty sturdy and I am impressed with some of the shots I got. If you do have a larger camera I would go with the upgraded model. Also, get a quick-mount because the included riser is a pain to switch out if you are on the go.

Good quality product. It can be a bit frustrating to balance your camera, but watch a couple YouTube videos and you should be able to handle it. I use it with a canon M50 which it handles no problem. The tracking features are nice/must haves. Can get some great cinematic footage with this gamble.

I've had this for about 6 month's now and its been one of the major tools in my collection. The control and stability this gimbal provides is top quality, not to mentiom how sturdy the set up is. Looking into getting the bigger one for my other camera because without one, you just wish you had one.

I bought this, charged it, registered it, and went to use and a critical thumb screw was missing so I could not use it. I contacted DJI and they had NO clue to what I was talking about after sending them pictures and detail is what was missing! I am still waiting. I ended up returning to Best Buy for an exchange. This is the best company to deal with. Now I use my gimbal and I love it. I hope I don’t need have yo contact DJI again. They have terrible tech support people. Best Buy are champs!

Overall product is solid, and unboxing is oddly fun. But things I wish I’d known before purchasing, is you need the “DJI Ronin RavenEye Image Transmission System” to fully utilize the “DJI Ronin” app (which retails around $230+.”
P.S. (for 1st time users)!!!!
Watch a YouTube clip of how to set this monster up; it can be daunting...

I know it is meant for mirrorless cameras, but I got this at the store since I really needed a stabilizer and this was the only one left. I use it with a Canon Rebel T7i and it fits perfectly and shoots as smooth as with a mirrorless camera. DJI never disappoints.

A lil complicated to use at first but once you get the hang of it it’s a very good to tool to help with capture the video you’re trying to capture . I love the side panels that allow you to add in to the Gimbal
