The 2 second turn on and auto unlock is the future. This thing is fast and it locks up tight. I just took this gimbal with the sony zv-e10 and sigma 16mm lens on 7 miles of rugged terrain in the deep woods of Maine. The whole setup was soild while hand carrying along the way and the nearly instant startup made me use it more. I have zhijun quick disconnects and havent had to rebalance for a month even though the camera has been on and off 20+ times. I am also using the ronin image transmitter that clips onto the underside of the gimbal. Using the ZV-e10 its a single wire to the camera and image transmission works great. The gimbal has plenty of muscle for my heavy lens and mic and image transmitter. It charges fast on a usb battery pack so I have had 0 issues with battery life. Improvements in my opinion would be integrating the image transmitter so it isnt using the cameras video feed (build a camera in), and having better camera capability. DJIs compatibility list is crucial to look at before buying and keep in mind that if a new camera comes out, they likely wont support it as history shows. Youll need to wait for the next gimbal after you buy a new camera. This gimbal came out after my zv-e10 by like 8 months yet only has barebone support when using image transmitter or connecting via bluetooth.. no zoom for example.

An awesome gimbal that has helped me up my video quality! It’s fairly easy to use (I only knocked it down a star because of the confusion with features between the mini, regular, and pro) and can hold quite a bit of weight. My current load out is a Sony A7RV, a 24-105mm Sony lense, and a Sennheiser MKE 400 shotgun mic. I love this so much that I just picked up the Raveneye (the thing that allows active tracking) and will be adding that to the load out too!

Intuitive and very easy to use. One of the features that I utilize the most is the quick lock option that allows me to lock up all of the hinges make a quick adjustment to the camera and get back to filming. Initially, I had issues with the battery life lasting on average 6 to 8 hours not realizing that my camera had the power via USB option, turned on. Once I made the correction, the battery would last me an average of 10 to 12 hours of medium to continuous use. The payload it takes supersedes my moza air cross 2, and I could not be happier specially, since I am now able to use various zoom lenses, particularly my Tamron 28-75. This has been one of the best purchases yet that has helped improve the quality in my video production work.

If you are using a moderate to average size camera set up (camera and lens combined) I think this would be a great product but if you are looking to use a heavier and larger size set up than this is not the right fit for you. I purchased this product in hopes to use it with my Sony a7IV full frame camera with a newly purchased Tamron 35-150mm f2.0-2.8 and was very disappointed to find that the balancing was extremely difficult to get right. Because the lens is long, weighty, and has external zoom (which makes the lens longer), you are not able to balance the gimbal with with this size set up. What I was unaware of is that the Ronin RS3 Pro has longer axis bars where as the Ronin RS3 has much smaller axis bars. I can't balance my camera and my lens on the Ronin RS3. This is costing me money and time having to figure out how to exchange this product after its return date has passed. I have to upgrade and spend more money in order to have the ability to use the desired set up.

Great gimbal, compact & fits all of my needs. The fact that the battery is swappable & you can break this entire thing down when putting it in a bag for traveling is a major plus for me.

If your trusty RS2 is on its last legs like mine was, this is pretty much the same reliable thing, with a few decent quality of life upgrades: bigger screen, autolock, etc. If you’re on the fence about the different brand options, i havent had a more reliable piece of equipment than the RS1/2/3.

Super smooth gimbal. The features of this gimbal are incredible. Everything has been well-thought-out. Tho it took me a few try to balance my sigma 18-50 with my eos r, maybe pro would be better for it, but with my 50mm and 85 mm, it was light, smooth and amazing experience.

Upgraded from the Ronin S original, and this is a much-improved gimbal! Love all the new features that are included in it such as the locking, Bluetooth connectivity to the camera, and touchscreen controls.

This is one of the best and reasonably affordable priced gimbal in the market right now. P.s small-rig briefcase arm is not included. Bought it later.
