Great Gimbal, but Disappointing Active Track
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The RS3 itself is amazing! Superb gimbal. The reason for four stars is because active tracking is locked behind the Raveneye transmitter from DJI. It wouldnt be that big of a deal except that the transmitter only works inside DJI's app on your phone/tablet. You cant send the signal to an external monitor and it only transmits 1080p video. Quite disappointing since the Raveneye is $150-180 depending on the day. I think DJI needs to refine the Raveneye or add additional ways to unlock active track.

Perfect for photography!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got to me on time! I love the product. It works for my photography and videos production. Heavy so it even works as a stand along tripod.

Don’t buy!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The axis bars don’t shift during the balance process. I shouldn’t have to struggle (hard at that) to get the tilt axis to shift positions. I’m exchanging for pro tomorrow. Hopefully this was a fluke. I’ve never had issues like this with DJI products
No, I would not recommend this to a friendBrand response from DJI Support
Posted .Dear customer,
We are sorry for any inconvenience caused. The Ronin single-handed product adopts a “non-orthogonal design”. When it is used with a camera, the roll axis arm will be titled, resulting in a tight fit between the roll axis arm and the base. In addition, as the friction force increases, the arm axis will become difficult to move. When balancing the roll axis arm, please refer to the video below and raise the axis arm marked with “RONIN” vertically along the axis arm to reduce the friction force of the roll axis arm, and then perform the balancing.
Should you need any further assistance, please feel free to contact our DJI support at http://www.dji.com/support, We are always here to help.
Best Regards,
DJI Support
