I come from the slightly older Ronin RS3 before I picked up this more compact gimbal for travel use. It's hard to believe that the 1 lb difference makes such a big difference. There are some things that I have observed vs the RS3 and one big caveat is that you cannot fold it "flat" for storage. you will have to rebalance it if you do. Also, the 2kg payload is a little misleading as my Canon R with the 2nd gen 24-70mm L lens resulted in one of the arms having to be moved to it's end range to balance. Finally, if you move too quickly, you can tell that the motors on the gimbal become more strained as it uses more power to keep the step in balance. My RS3 doesn't have such issues but is also bigger, heavier and more cumbersome to use while traveling. If you have a APS-C camera, compact point and shoot our even a cellphone, then this is perfect. Oh yeah, it also shoots vertical videos too if you're into that sort of thing. The RSC requires an adaptor plate that is purchased separately.

Cool gimbal and able to download an app to your phone and control stuff from there. It does the job well

If you are an aspiring film maker, or even just a hobbyist, then this is something you will want in your kit for sure! It's a little tricky at first but thanks to all the video assistance out there it eventually can become like second nature. That's pretty much the only thing keeping this from a higher score is the amount of time it may take to get used to it. Also, it's portable but certainly not the most portable thing out there so be aware of that as well if that matters to you!

Great value for the buck from a trusted brand. As long as your rig doesn't weigh much, This would be the better option compared to other gimbals due to portability

well thought out design , travel / functionality are top notch

Somehow the female end of the tripod bolt just broke entirely off and out of the handle so i just have this hole there now. No way to balance it without holding it now. Its brand new so im kind of dumbfounded how it happened. Ive had my camera a long time and it screws onto things the same way and its still solid. Tried to glue it back in but wouldnt hold.

This compact gimbal is incredibly sleek and powerful. The menu system is extremely simple and straight forward. Motors are strong and the vertical mounting is great for Social Media content. This Gimbal is a must buy!

Very cool tool for cameras however rated 4 stars due to the fact it was hard to get the gimbal to stabilize and adjust.

Nicely built and designed. Took less then 5 minutes to setup and to download all the necessary apps needed. Andriod Galaxy 24s user and was able to download the apps with no issues to control the gimbal. Will be testing out in the field soon after practicing in the house.
