Customers are saying

Customers are enthusiastic about the RSC 2 3-Axis Gimbal Stabilizer's ease of use and stability, frequently praising its smooth operation and ability to produce steady footage. Many appreciate the gimbal's weight and compact size, particularly its foldable design for convenient portability. While some wish for an included carrying case, the positive feedback on features like battery life and advanced functionalities outweighs this minor concern.

Having used the DJI Ronin M stabilizer for a couple years, as well as trying the Ronin S and hating it, going to this was a much better experience. I chose the smaller RSC 2 because my heaviest combination is only 4lbs, so it didn't make sense to get the more expensive RS. Pros: Much lighter than both Ronin S and M (VERY IMPORTANT) When packed up it takes a very small amount of space which is VERY IMPORTANT! The portability of this stabilizer is the main reason I got it. I travel often without much luggage and it's much nicer to carry this around than a huge Pelican case that's 50lbs (Ronin M) or another heavy stabilizer like the Ronin S. Incredibly capable for size and price point Lots of features and customizability - ability to change modes, capabilities, gimbal add-ons, etc. CALIBRATION!! It is SO much easier to calibrate because the axis locks in every direction. This is a godsend! Build quality is exceptional, just like in every other DJI product. Battery lasts a LONG time (12-16 hours for me depending on usage) Has a screen! Once you get past the learning curve, you'll have a lot of fun with it! Cons: Steep learning curve. The amount of modes it has can be both an advantage and disadvantage. I recommend taking at least a day to learn how the modes and the gimbal itself works. ALMOST doesn't fit my camera size-wise BUT supports weight-wise (Canon 80D with 18-35mm 1.8) Doesn't support heavier cameras (that's what the full-size RS2 is for)

Best portable gimbal I’ve ever used and it’s easy to setup and balance! Very stable and lightweight. Can’t wait to keep using it for professional and non professional video shoots.

Great for smoothing out video without using a tripod. I’ve actually attached it to my tripod too. Looks cool, works well.

Ronin S size and weight made it extremely cumbersome when traveling. With the new folding design and reduced weight, I decided to upgrade! Not only is it lighter and easier to carry it has some excellent upgraded features. The front scroll wheel can manage focus, ISO, or aperture control. The display on the back now allows you to manage the RSC2 set up without needing to open the phone app! It's the perfect travel gimbal!! I might upgrade to RSC2 Pro combo or even Rs2 pro combo soon to utilize all the features. RavenEye seems exciting.

This gimbal is perfect, the ability to fold the SC2 into multiple shooting positions is really an amazing selling point, one day of shooting with this in the field solidified this as a daily piece of equipment in my kit

The best gimbal on the market. Lightweight plus it’s one of the easiest units to learn how to use. I would prefer this over any other gimbal.. definitely choose this over the zhiyun weebill

DJI Ronan RSC 2 Gimbal Review ... awesome tool

After browsing and comparing many gimbals I settled on the RSC 2 and I could not be more satisfied. It handles my Sony A7iii with ease and I am able to use relatively heavier lenses (a 24mm G-Master 1.4 and a 85mm 1.8). Set up is quite simple and I like that it has an app that helps stabilize the camera more precisely. The many cords that includes to use in conjunction with the camera is nice to have although I haven't fully used everything, for my needs of a gimbal to quickly put a camera on and start shooting this is amazing and very steady.

I had the Ronin S and really liked it, but thankfully the smaller, lighter and cheaper version is a major upgrade! The folding action takes up so much less space and the motors keep you camera even steadier. I HIGHLY recommend you get the kit, vs the base model! I first bought the base model and the kit is so much of a better value. It includes a carrying case, so many extras like a phone mount, the Raven Eye system and even more!

Excellent build quality and easy setup. Super stable and the controls on the grip eliminate the need to have to always reach for your phone to change some settings. Loved it so much I returned it and went with the RS 2 pro combo kit. Contemplated keeping this one as well to compliment the RS 2 and to have a second gimbal on hand. Will most likely purchase another one in the near future. The only con to this was no included carry case. Have to get the combo kit to get a carry case.

Favorite part is how tiny it becomes when folded!! Fits in my backpack. My A1 with battery grip works on it. Had to flip around the plate to make it balance because of the weight but holds up good! Very smooth compared to my previous Zhiyun Crane 2, and I love the locking function for travel as the camera doesnt bounce around with transporting.

This is by far the best stabilizer I ever bought. It handles my 90D amazingly. I use it for many of my projects and has an easy set up and put way. Very simple to use and allows me to make very crucial moves when grabbing footage for my clients.
