    Very complicated to set up. Instructions tell you to scan a QR code under the battery. That kept failing. Took the unit back got a replacement and same thing. Finally figured out you need to scan the code on the controller. Still not been able to fly it. Geek squad guy was rude, kept telling me I had to pay the restocking fee an an exchange.

    Battery life is undesirable. Picture quality is okay. Most of the time, downloading the media to the phone is frustrating because it disconnects while frequently. Connectivity is a major issue. Upgrade to the better DJI mavic air instead.

      We're sorry you aren't enjoying your Spark as much as you hoped you would! Do you typically fly in congested urban areas, or do you fly in rural areas? Sometimes wireless signals can mess with the connection of remote to Spark. DJISupport

    I got this drone because I wanted to learn how to fly a drone. So far the thing has fallen out of the sky because it lost power, and I lose signal often.

    Size is great, it's compact but not so tiny that it's barely visible when in-flight, camera is really awesome. However, it's very complicated setup and operation, and if you are an iPhone user you have to purchase a cable just to connect your phone to the controller (this should be included!!!) It's quirky at best, not worth the price paid.

      Hey Max. Glad you are enjoying Spark. Regarding the size, it's really important to always fly within line of sight for safety reasons. As for your phone, Spark is designed primarily to be used to connect to your smart device via wifi so that cable is not necessary, though some users opt to use a cable. Safe flying! DJISupport

    I didn't really like this drone. I had an issue with it from the very beginning. It kept losing connection to the remote it was packaged and paired with.

    Great for 2 hours - then lost GPS and it's gone

    I had a great time getting started with this drone. it was relatively simple to set up, although I had to reset it and the controller to get them to sync up. I had 3 or 4 very successful flights in "beginner mode" and learned how to control it. It crashed against the side of the deck and broke one propeller - my fault. But still in beginner mode, on the 4th or 5th flight, it took off to the southeast out of site and I was sure it was gone forever. However - it did TRY to come home - we heard it and saw it try - and it's lost somewhere in the forest. I would NOT recommend it on this basis. As a software guy, I recognize how cool a piece of engineering this is. But it failed me...

      We apologize for the poor experience you had with your DJI Spark. If you contact DJI Support, they may be able to download the logs from your remote, and either assist you in locating the drone or seeing what went wrong. DJISupport
