My review is this , the series is one of my favorite and this on the ps4 is no let down. 60 frams per minute 1080p . You will love playing this game..

This definitive edition lives up to its namesake by offering significant upgrades not only to the visuals, but also overall gameplay as well. It's actually a huge improvement over the original version of the game, and the guys at Ninja Theory did themselves (and the gamers) a favor by listening to the critics of the fans, which is commendable. This DE version of DmC is highly recommended to every action game fan, even if you hated the original release on last gen consoles.

I have the PS3 version and it was awesome. This new version on PS4 with the added DLC content and 60 FPS makes it look amazing!!! It's a must buy for every good gamer out there and it's so much fun to play. Hours of slashing through demons and trying different combos all over. Amazing soundtrack and well, can't wait for Capcom to make a new DMC after this one.

Huge upgrade over the ps3 version. The ps3 version was a bit blurry, but this game is crystal clear at 1080p/60 fps.

I had this game on PS3 so it was good to have all the dlc in place with the game. Solid title.

Don't mind all the hate this game gets. The story is great, the fighting is fast paced and it runs at 60 fps, and you also get all the DLC that came out for the game on last gen. Again, don't mind the hate just buy the game.

This game didn't sell very well when it first came out but I hope people give it a chance since it's one of the best action games out there with a very very versatile combat system, great soundtrack, voice work and graphics look better and runs at 60fps.

I've never played any of the previous DMC however a co-worker mentioned they were amazing on the previous game systems so I figured i'd try it. Low and behold, I absolutely LOVE this game! Definitely a must have in your PS4 collection. :) From: a woman previously on a 12year hiatus from the gaming world. :)

If you like Bayonetta, then DMC is the precursor attempt by Capcom. This remixed version is the best one on the market for DMC and it improves a lot of little annoyances from the PS2 and PS3 series of games. Also, the price is great for an adventure about 10 hours long.

Any fan of the Devil May Cry series will love this playing this game. If you've never played any of the Devil May Cry games this is a great place to start. I didn't have a chance to play the original DMC on 360/PS3, so I was ecstatic when I learned it was getting a face lift for next gen. 5 Stars!

Absolutely love the DMC series, and love this new take on the franchise. Love the combat and setting here. Also like the new Dante, even though most fans of the series hate it. Really hoping for a sequel to this game.

If you are new to DMC you may like this game, but find it short-lived. If you are an original DMC fan, like me, you will probably be disappointed. The game as a whole was pretty short. This included both Dante's story mode and Virgil's downfall. The story seemed a little cheesy compared to the other DMC games and the game play was definitely less exciting. If you are a melee fan you will probably find the game entertaining, but not nearly as interesting as the other DMC games. The Definitive Edition has decent graphics and interesting weapons but, in my opinion, weapons and game play peril in comparison to the previous DMC games. I finished the game quickly and without much interest other than wanting to complete the game. I was excited for the Definitive Edition, but it left me uninspired and slightly regretful.

During the current generation of systems we have seen a lot of ports that claim to be upgraded, remastered, definitive, complete etc. In some cases they were just cheap ports with little effort put in. As a gamer who owned and enjoyed Devil May Cry on the PlayStation 3 I was apprehensive to repurchase the game on the PlayStation 4. I'm glad I gave it a shot though, the game runs very smooth at 60fps with nice upgraded visuals. The additional DLC was nice to have at no additional cost outside of this package. The game is challenging but fun once you begin to learn the combos and get deeper into the experience.

I actually bought this game during the last generation of consoles and never got around to play it (it's still in the wrapping lol). I'm glad I held off though because this remastered ("Definitive") version not only looks better, but includes several more features.
