Everything about this remake is wonderful. The fact that it has online and stays faithful to the wii/ps2 version is amazing. I love that i cam easily bring this game on the go or at home so me and my friends can yell at each other for hours at a time. An added bonus is that the game has a reverse cover that looks amazing.

A game so chaotic and random that you just can’t help but have fun! So much fun in fact that my friend got his own copy after we played together.

The friendship destroying game is right! A chaotic mix of Mario Party and Monopoly! Loads of fun if you're a board game lover! Been playing with friends since the Wii! Highly recommend!

I love playing this game with my family and friends. It's like Mario Party, but way more in-depth and brutal. Be prepared to test your relationships when playing this one, but it is so worth it!

I have started playing the main story of Dokapon with a group of friends online. It’s a hit and we are all having a great time.

Around 15 years after the game originally released on Wii, Dokapon Kingdom is the latest game to get an enhanced Switch port. All of the great party action from the Wii game is back, now with online multiplayer and HD visuals. There are some minor bugs, namely the added UI showing that it's your turn showing up on the week summary and game not pausing after hitting the home button, but they don't detract much from the game. My only notable complaint is that none of the original game's problems have been addressed. Dark Whisper still comes up a little too often, getting back to the castle from a large distance is sometimes a slog, and lacking explanations of certain mechanics for beginners. Anything you disliked about the game on Wii is still here. The underlying game is identical besides the HD visuals and online. If you were a fan of the original, or were interested but turned off by it's insane second hand prices, this is the best way to play the game. While I wish they went a bit further in refining the game, Dokapon Kingdom is still a blast with the right group of friends and/or family and I highly recommend it.

This game is the gift that keeps giving. Bought it years ago in the Wii to play with my son (he was 6 at the time). He's now an adult and we still play this game. It was great to see it ported to the Switch. Would have loved to see something new added (new continent, new enemies or weapons), but keeping it as the same game with higher resolution is just fine. Love this game and it's highly recommended.

If Mario Party and and RPG had a baby this would be the results!

I always describe this game as Mario Party, meets monopoly, meets Dragon Quest. It’s a lot more fun with friends, but can be a blast solo as well. It’s a chaotic game that has you move around a board fighting enemies for experience and capturing towns for a high ranking. If your looking for a new party game check this out!

This is a port of a game that was released back in the wii/ps2 era. With that disclaimer out of the way, it's an absolute blast when playing with friends. If you enjoy adventure boardgames but want a night with no setup this is the way to go. Game UI is presented well enough and on-line saves are sperate from local play saves. Would 100% recommend

The game itself is fun but I seem to have the worst luck. It seems like if someone knows how to play they are able to just roll everyone else. I am always attacking second and fail a lot.

This is a super enjoyable party style RPG board game. It was originally on Switch and PS2, and it was super difficult to find. Im stoked that it has finally come to the Switch! If you like Mario Party and RPGs, this is a no brainer!
