If you own a Switch 2 but somehow still don't have this game and even remotely enjoy platformers, get it now. You can even play pseudo co-op with a family member or friend who isn't too into games.

Went between the two stores to get both the Switch 2 and Donkey Kong Bananza. But it was worth it. Been playing them and enjoying both games and system. Definitely worth the time and effort.

All sorts of stuff to do after the game ends as well it’s a solid game and at the moment the best game on the Switch 2

I simply don't feel that this game does enough as all throughout this is a game about smashing the environment and then smashing some more and more after that. It's not much of a platformer which is why this game greatly pales in comparison to Mario Odyssey. It is one of the most unique titles on Switch 2 in its first year, so I'd still it's worthwhile to own if you have a Switch 2. I imagine in the years to come, there will be a lot of awesome exciting titles that are even better for Switch 2. But for now, I'd say it's a worthwhile purchase.
