Doom!!!!!! What more can one possibly add to this masterpiece Who said the rock doesn’t have RANGE

This DOOM movie released in 2005 is not a great film by any means. It has little to do with the actual franchise it is based on, the writing is very weak throughout, the CGI effects even at the time weren't convincing enough, the music is repetitive and forgettable, and while The Rock is doing the best he can, he is miscast and poorly directed in this. That being said, this is a guilty pleasure of mine that I can't help but laugh at every year being a big DOOM fan. This 4K release is done well with decent HDR, immersive DTS:X sound, and much better detail than previous releases. The special features though are all the same from 2005 and woefully outdated now. I would recommend under $10 for curious fans.

why is it always dark and no lights in all the bldgs and all hallway and all rooms ,, and everyone gotta big gun .. i know why to make sure you are scared .. just like in the game .. tough guys against bad monstro , so who will win .. you have to see the ending to know .. i should not have looked at youtubes scenes of this doom before buying this and i would have enjoyed it more .. got this black friday deal for the thanksgiving weekend movie watching .. some video gore meebe not for little kids

This film is crazy, and it knows it. A fun ride that's evenn better in 4K.

First time buying this movie! Can't go wrong with the Rock on 4K!

Growing up watching the Rock made me realize how incredible the Rocks acting is! If you played the games and and love them, then this movie is for you. There is a scene where it goes full first person shooting mode. I remember going to the movie theaters as a kid with my mom and little brother and seeing this on the big screen!

Good movie and great action, took advantage of black Friday and glad i did.

Seriously everything you could do wrong jn an adaptation of a beloved video game classic was done here. But my wife absolutely loves this trash heap regardless. So why not be a good husband right? I cannot believe Universal took time putting this to 4K

One of my guilty pleasures, mainly from nolstagia. With that, the 4K transfer is awesome and the blacks really look like inky blacks. Not much color in here but the BFG explosions are a highlight, for sure.

Great movie came in from the mail by best buy in good condition movie was awesome alittle slow burn but worth it by the end.

It's DOOM. In 4k. That's enough to let you know if you want to own it or not.

Love this movie. The rock did a pretty decent job. And I like that they incorporated styles from the Doom video hame series into the movie.

We all know this isn’t the Doom movie we all wanted but its still some dumb fun. Its geared towards doom 3 w scientists and indoor lab facilities. You won’t be seeing hellish landscapes. The spotlight is divided between The Rock and Karl Urban causing a main protagonist confusion. There is the ‘first person 10 minute sequence’ which is fun but that is the highlight of the film. Good for a background watch.

I first saw this movie at the theaters and i like it. For years i've been trying to look for it on Blu ray. now i got it on 4K in my collection.

Good 4K Transfer. Still a bit too dark in some action scenes. But still decent.

Great Classic!! Awesome cast and awesome picture!!

So much fun, and such a guilty pleasure. This film is loosely based on the source material. More like Resident Evil in space, but Karl Urban is a beqst, and The Rock is cranked to 11. The movie is dark, in shadow a lot so the action can be hard to see. The audio is not mixed well but still worth a watch.
