I had a great time playing this game with its excellent shooting mechanics and multi level platforming. This game is straight forward and tells you everything you need to know from the start such as enemy weak points, how to refill ammo, and basic movements. This game has a lot to offer gameplay wise. Each level feels new and refreshing with all sorts of collectibles, power ups, new enemies, and secret rooms to be explored. There are also these secret fight encounters to keep you on your toes giving you more rewards; like the slayer gates which are challenging, but upon completion give a slayer key which can be used for later on. The story is not why I bought the game, but it is pretty cool giving some background to the Doom Slayer for those who haven’t got a clue who he is. The story makes the player feel more badass especially the flash back cutscenes near the end. This is worth your time and I recommend it to anyone who wants a different FPS experience. TLDR: it’s a great game go get it.

Picked up my copy the day it released and man has it been a fun ride! The opening sequence literally gave me goosebumps and not gonna lie, a little choked up too. I am The Doom Slayer and I am Ripping and Tearing through Demons like a knife through butter! So much fun and the timing couldn’t have been better, considering the “stay at home” world we are currently living in. This game came a long way from the Share Ware days of the original Doom. Great job ID Software, y’all out did yourselves. To the potential buyer, don’t think, don’t hesitate, get this game! You won’t regret it.

I'm not kidding when I say it: DOOM Eternal is the best First-Person Shooter Game I have ever played. And I have played shooters since Wolfenstein 3D back in the day. This is no Call of Duty or Halo. This is a hyper-speed driven, movement-based shooter that requires you to always blitz around the area to take out foes. Cover is almost nonexistent and the only way to defeat enemies it to shoot them! But you also have to be smart at how you shoot since some enemies have weak points that disable their attacks or use Glory Kills to stage them up for a fatality that restores health, or perhaps a chainsaw attack to restore ammo along with a well-timed flame burst to restore your armor. The ways to play are literally off the walls and you can mix and match combos of moves and weapons to have an insane blast of a time. Did I mention the crazy metal soundtrack by Mick Gordon? It's a hell of headbanger. \m/ This game never gets old, and that says something since this is the same series that pioneered the FPS genre. Go out there and get this game and get ready to RIP AND TEAR!!!!

Doom Eternal is a great follow up to the previous Doom game. There's non-stop action and thrills. My biggest complaint is it is kind of hard, maybe too hard. I've tried playing on the easiest difficulty and I still die a lot in the game. Otherwise it's pretty fun.

The action in this game are great and fun experience. The graphics are also well done with the map and characters. Sorten mechanics of the game like weapons, monster enemies have change the way you play seem little challenging experiences.

One of the best looking games I’ve played this generation. Really good story and of course the controls feel good. They have been consistently updating the game and adding things. If your a Doom fan, this may be the best doom ever.

Doom let’s you Rip and Tear through well crafted levels with a compelling story and lots of weaponry to blow through the demons and save Earth from Hell’s Wrath.

Greatest doom yet, ive been playing doom since the original came out and this is perfect. Loved it so much i finished it in 2 days. Great story graphics and great fun. Even whennyou lose you have a great time

The game is great so is the product the only problem is that i bought it 1 mounth before it came out but I did not get the preorder bonuses 10/10 game, still annoyed about preorder bonuses

If doom 2016 was a peek at things to come eternal is a power trip on steroids!! Serious fps will love the fast, frantic gameplay with novice players may be turned off by the difficulty

I have always been a doom fan. It takes a few hours to get used to the different style of play but the upgradeable is engaging, the story line is deeper. Overall amazingly fun.

Doom (2016) is one of my all-time favorite shooters. This game is that amped up to 11! There are many new tools at the Slayer’s disposal that can make the learning curve a little steep, but once you get into a rhythm, this game is incredibly fun!

While it's similar to Doom (2016) in terms of non-stop action and fast pace, it also feels like a completely different beast. Everything, from enemy behaviors and weaknesses to resource management, has so much more depth to it. There's so many mechanics to the game that it might feel overwhelming to some people and I understand why. But every single thing the game teaches you is significant and useful in the gameplay loop, it isn't there just for sh!ts and giggles. GET THIS GAME.

Doom Eternal does not disappoint. There are a couple enemies who really break up the game play in an annoying way but otherwise great gun play, awesome graphics well placed platforming granted the platforming was a change of pace but still good. If you like first person shooters, this title is a must for your library. Oh, and Best Buy did a great job of getting the game on time and early. Though they did not have the steel book in stock that was supposed to come with all preorders. And the download codes come as an extra email from best buy. Annoying but at least they came through.

This was worth every penny I loved this game sooo much and it’s so good the graphics and level design is amazing! Incredibly Spot on highly recommended

A harder more challenging sequel that continues an already great story and enhances on the gameplay that made Doom great

Though it improves upon its predecessor in a lot of ways, it is unnecessarily difficult and frustrating in many others. Still, if you enjoyed 2016, I think you'll enjoy this.

What can I say, the 1st person shooter game of all time just got better. Well worth the wait for its release. Plus if you purchase the delux edition you get a free download of DOOM 64! You can't beat that. A must have 1st person shooter games. I'd give it 6 stars but there are only five stars!

I have already completed the game and am already going for a second run. After mastering the game you can come back into a harder difficulty and really strut your stuff. After some time the multiplayer can be a blast as well if your willing to take the time to learn and applying what you picked up from the campaign. All in all it's a fun game that is well worth the price of admission and is as fun as hell

It builds upon the foundation that was Doom 2016, in mostly positive ways. Combat is just is fun, but more varied but also requires more from the player. Platforming sections is pretty basic and I wish it was more organically placed, but is all pretty short. It also has a different atmosphere to 2016. 2016 and a slight horror aspect to its design, while eternal is more gamey/arcady.
