Doom arrived just in time to weather the storm that is COVID-19. Classic Doom feel with new tracks to grind through demons and arenas. Good mix of FPS and platforming. Classic demons return with some new and varied types. Further explanation of HELL using new codex entries and awesome complimenting art pieces.

Theres alot of strategy involved this time around as you have to defeat demons in special ways in order to get health, armor or ammo. They come in flocks and are relentless. I enjoy the hectic gameplay which you have to sometimes die multiple times in order to figure out the best approach to an area.

You run around and destroy pretty much everything in your path. Each encounter is a puzzle where you have to decide what is the most optimal path of murder while listen to a death metal choir urging you to chainsaw that poor imp in your path. Great game, you should get it.

Yes it has blood and gore, but hey you knew that when you saw the title. The lore development in this game was substantially increased making the game more immersive. Gameplay is so smooth. Only experienced one bug where I got hit by a pinky and got stuck in the floor lol!

Only just started playing, but loving it already. Graphics are great, story seems good. Definitely worth waiting outside Best Buy for 20 minutes in the rain.

Doom is one of my favorite video game series. Was so looking forward to this game. The combat is so much fun. However the platforming seems out of place and annoying. I stopped playing months ago out of frustration. Parts of it feel like Pitfall. Maybe I will eventually go back and finish the main story at least. If you like some platforming mixed in with your demon slaying I say go for it.

Doom Eternal is fast paced brutally awesome demon slaying at its best. The game looks beautiful. As far as the deluxe edition it just has skins for doom Slayer and weapons and then the Season pass for the next two DLCs.

Outstanding game. I have been playing the Doom games my entire life, and this may be the best Doom ever made. Absolutely outstanding and worth the money for the Deluxe Edition. I have had so much fun playing this.

Doom Eternal isn’t a bad game but it feels rushed and unfinished. The environments are detailed and more varied than it’s predecessor and it has more monsters and demons, so that’s good. But the combat arenas are badly designed and you often get stuck in corners or on the ground geometry. The music is all around worse than 2016’s soundtrack, which had numerous bangers. Not a single track in Eternal is worth listening to on its own. I actually turned th music down about halfway through. The story is more in your face, it’s not background any more. Tons of game-stopping cutscenes and it no longer takes itself seriously. You can’t force Camp, instead it’s just cringey. Combat, the main part of the game is overly complex and none of the weapons are as satisfying as the original. Overall, it’s not a BAD game, but it is a WORSE game. It’s a decent 7/10, but I spent 90$ on it and feel ripped off. Plus the achievements are broken and it only has 1 multiplayer mode instead of 2 like they advertised. Disappointed.

Nothing more that I need to say about this game and the quality of the graphics to the packaging. Thank you for making this and giving us doom during the state of hardship we're facing Thank you bathesda!

If you liked the Doom reboot in 2016, you’ll most likely enjoy this one. There’s a few more puzzles and a little more platforming, but plenty of action. Excellent graphics and performance on Xbox One X!

Doom Eternal is an amazing game. The graphics, the Glory Kills, even the story, this game has it all! Love it. That said, Battlemode is not multiplayer, so don't expect it to be and you'll be fine.

Bought the game the day it came out. My son started playing g and it was funny to watch him. It is super face paced and pretty challenging for a novice shooter player. Look like a cool game though.

I haven't played Doom since the original dos version of Doom. This is why different. Really good game very fast paced and a lot of gruesome deaths overall it's a pretty good game though

DOOM ETERNAL XBOX ONE Love this game! My reflexes are not what they were when I played Doom in 1993, but I still have a blast and enjoy blowing up baddies!
