I have grown up with Doom for decades. The return of Doom in 2016 was exceptionally entertaining. However Doom Eternal is Doom 2016 on steroids. The Graphics are wonderful. The action is non-stop and kicking. It takes me back to my early days of playing the original Doom. Highly recommended.

It’s loud, it’s violent, it’s doom. Fun game with excellent graphics that is beautiful to look at. Enjoyed the puzzles and exploring the levels of the game. Be aware it’s hyper violent and I sometimes found myself having to turn it off as a result.

This is “Doom,” through and through! Fast paced. Amazing graphics. Fun. Fast. VIOLENT!!! Love it!

Enjoyable game, graphics are awesome as well as smooth slick gameplay, everything is an improvement over Doom 2016 except for the limited resource management. I loved using any type of weapon to dispatch enemies in Doom 2016, in eternal it’s a little bit of a chess match and games that take thinking are lots of fun. However I come to doom just to blow demons away in the goriest way possible. All in all good game and worth the money.

The game is good so far but Best Buy has really dropped the ball on this one, I guess my real issue is with Best Buy and how they handled my pre order for this game which I pre ordered since February 7th. Anyone who preordered this game online was aware that the order would include the following pre order bonuses: RIP and tear pack and a digital copy of Doom 64 both in the form of digital codes. However, myself and others never recieved either digital bonus. What's worse is how this is being handled by BestBuy. I have already been checking my emails and spam as it says on their website. I contact Bestbuy by phone and waited three hours to talk to someone, I try to explain my issue and the agent never asks me for information, but he says that hes going to look at my account and quickly puts me on hold, where I wait another 15-20 minutes only to be greeted by a new agent who didn't understand that I was supposed to be receiving both the rip and tear pack and doom 64, she told me that I would only be entitled to one. The problem is that she told me that she would make note and report this to a "code master" but to keep checking my email; which I've been doing. It's been several days and no resolution to report. I cant chat with anyone on BestBuys website because it just keeps disconnecting me as soon as I put in my name and email and tells me to refresh and start again. There's a mix of people claiming that they have recieved theirs but alot who havent-noted on bestbuys own forums, there's even people who have not even recieved their game. Either way, its frustrating. I'm not asking for much..I'm simply asking to recieve what I paid for in its entirety. Is that too much to ask?? Since I couldn't really post this on Best buys forums it's why i posted this here, i would love some help with this situation..it would be appreciated.

If you want to rip and tear again, you can. If you want to slay demons again, you can. If you want to rock out to an awesome soundtrack again, you can.

One of the best fast paced action games ever made, this is a great game, storyline is convoluted but the game itself is so much fun after a long day of work. Go rip and tear and have fun doing it!

Doom has always been a run and gun FPS and this game will not disappoint. Very fast paced and will keep you on the edge of your seat. Does get repetitive as does any Doom game, but if your a fan of the series then you will love it!

I haven’t played a game in a while where it was just pure fun. The graphics. The gameplay. The soundtrack. Everything just worked and I haven’t had that much fun playing a game in a long time. Well done.

IMO, this game holds true to image graphics and action play is a bit to hard for me since im only playing due to the self-isolation mandate. Im boomer gen and would’ve died to get what Gen Z’s have nowadays. Enjoy:)

I want to preface this review by saying I'm not heavily into first person shooters. They tend to be repetitive and overstay their welcome. DOOM Eternal is an exception. It's definitely one of the most fun games that I've played all year. The action is fast paced and progression of weapons, upgrades, and enemies is very well balanced. Some might like at the game like a bunch of mindless action, but there is quite a bit of lore, platforming, character building, etc. And what's nice is that it's completely up to you how deeply you want to explore each of these aspects of the game. I was engaged throughout and the game wraps up juuuust before the combat loop starts to wear thin.

This game is awesomely addictive and hardcore. The soundtrack is so metal that it alone will have your adrenaline pumping. The game is challenging which makes it that much more rewarding when you clear a hurdle. I still haven’t played any of the multiplayer modes yet but if it’s anything like the single player campaign I’m sure I’ll love it.

Doom 2016 was a great entry in the Doom series, so, how do you follow that up? With an even better Doom. This game is fast, brutal, fun. It looks great, it sounds great, the monsters are updated but still have the look and design of the classic versions. If you have an Xbox series X or a PS5, it's also a good tech showcase, since it's been updated with graphical goodies like ray tracing. Overall if you are into FPS games or Doom in any way, then you need to try this one out.

This is an awesome game for any DOOM fan! The graphics are better than expected. Seems to have some ammo scarcity, but grew on me a couple of hours in. Arcadey style gameplay is a little different.

My wife loves this series, so this was a gift for her. Great gameplay and graphics. The only thing i would say is that she still struggled on the lowest difficulty, and maybe its too hard?

This game is amazing! The pace, colors,graphics, THE FRICKIN MUSIC IS INCREDIBLE! Well worth the price as it takes around 15 hrs to complete. But you will want to come back for more!

So I have had this game for about three days. I just finished the game and what a ride. The action is fast and intense. The graphics are amazing. I am the doom slayer!

Doom Eternal is a well received continuation from the last game graphics, gameplay, story and controls are great. If you like the last Doom you’ll love Eternal.

One of the best first person shooters I've ever played. Tons of action great graphics and Controls. Must buy!I highly recommend this game. Get it before it's too late.
