If you love doom on ps4 or xbox one then this is a must have game if you play games on the go idc if its break at work drs appointment at the park in your car at a friends or family members or waiting hrs during hospital stay for child birth waitng for the baby to be born.. Play this game its gory violent and one of the best games out there who cares about the story its good but all the action is where its at arcade mode is amazing to all the womens and upgrades i live forthe chainsaw but i love all the other weapons to not for little kids but teens and adults will love this graphics take a small hit frame rate is great even if its 30 fps. But portablity on a system is the best noone is hone all the time we work we go to drs its addicting must have

So Doom came out last year (2016) for the PS4,Xbox one and P.C. it was very well received both critically by the media and from players as well. It was a huge shock to many when we found out that the Nintendo Switch was also going to receive a port of Doom. This game has been downgraded to fit and run on the switch but having this title on the go make a up for it big time. I have been playing if since I first acquired it and it has been a blast. The game feels fast, energetic, very thematic and empowering. There is a visual difference while comparing to the other platforms but which one can you take on the go with you? This is third party support done right for the Nintendo Switch and I’ve been very pleased with my purchase.

I'm having a blast with this game. They nailed the multiplayer, and the game is so much fun to take on the game. I owned the Xbox version of this, and yes, the graphics aren't as good on the switch, yes it runs at 30fps vs 60 (although I honestly don't notice the difference too much to be honest), but it still runs great! You'd be a fool to expect the exact same performance as ps4/xbox. Definite must buy for switch owners, especially if you never owned last year's version.

I never thought I would see the day where a game like DOOM could run on a hand held system. To be honest, if you aren't interested in collecting for the Switch like I am, and if you have a gaming PC, PS4 or XBox One, I would not get it for the Switch. The graphics are not nearly as good as they are on those, the framerate is not as fast or stable, and playing it in handheld mode isn't the most intuitive experience (in fact, I exclusively play it on the TV with my Pro Controller). However, it's still insane to think this game is running entirely off a cart (there is a download but it's only for the multiplayer component of the game) on an under powered hand held. Tl;dr: Impressive port, get it if you only have a Switch or if you collect for Switch, get it somewhere else if otherwise.

This game is very well done. A great port with smooth gameplay and good controls. The only drawback is that the frame rate isn’t a bit faster, but it’s still great.

After putting this game in my Switch, I was immediately impressed. Yes, the resolution is lower then the other versions and yes, the framerate is low then the other versions, however, it still holds up very well. I was very surprised at how well it ran, how good it looked, and how good it felt to play. If you're looking for a solid single player FPS, look no further.

A great port to the Switch and a solid entry in the franchise. Would reccomend Doom Eternal now as it improved upon Doom 2016 in every way

Awesome game. Barely any graphical hit compared to other consoles, and you get to take it on the go.

Never thought of playing Doom on the go. The game was ported really well, some says the graphics are not that good. But who stands still in the afterworld to appreciate the scenery? You got to keep moving to stay alive. The gameplay is smooth though sometimes sounds tend to go low, but when you restart the game. It will be back again to normal. If you haven't played Doom before and you have a Switch, i recommend getting this version.

For me, the original was 10 out of 10 game and this one is no different. It's exactly the same experience. The only thing that bothered me was lack of 60 fps. For the fast paced shooter like Doom, it's noticeable. For that reason alone I would deduct 2 points of the final score, but on the other hand, the Switch version, essentially IS a portable version, which is very impressive ... and let's not forget that you get all DLCs

If you are into 1st person shooters, this is the best one made. Complete reboot on the biggest 3d shooter from 1993 and what set the bar and standards for this Genre. Its fast paced with beautiful graphics. Go get this, its a must have any you will not be disappointed. Only downside to this release for switch is no snapmap editor (level creator)

I didn’t get a chance to play doom on the other systems, so I went into this version of the game fresh. I am very pleased with my experience playing doom. It far better that Kill Zone on the PS Vita (and I really liked Kill Zone). It plays smooth. I was just so amazed how this game looks on this portable machine. I have been very impressed with this game and it’s a must buy!

I have a free copy on PC which is the superior version by the way, but have yet to play it and opted to get it on the Switch because I love FPS, wanted to support 3rd party's on the Switch and this game just looks and plays really well on the system too! Glad they were also able to bring in the multiplayer on board as well, but its about a 7.7GB download just and FYI.

I haven't played DOOM on other platform but switch ver definitely looks and plays great. The shooting is relentless but there are maps you can explore and secrets to find I think many people will find it fun and addictive. Must have game!

No third party game should be off the table now that fast and frantic shooting experiences like Doom and massive adventure games like Skyrim and Breath of the Wild are possible on Switch, even on the go. Doom is my favorite game of 2016 and it was a blast here as well, but seeing the PS4 and Xbox One versions so cheap, maybe wait for a slight price drop.

I was very impressed with the fact the developer was able to squeeze Doom onto the Switch. Sure the textures and resolution are a bit lower than on other systems, but who cares? This is Doom through and through, and I cant play the other versions on my lunch break! Fantastic game for anyone looking for some fast pace, demon slaying action.

Love the Doom new game. I played doom in all old version when I was small. Now I got this game , a bit difficult to play at beginning but eventually got it.
