I haven't ever played doom. I knew it was inferior version but I gave it a chance and totally blow away. It was hard at first, but once you get the hang of it hard to put this game down.

It's a great game that holds up to the original one. It's a very fast paced game. Although the quality of the graphics is somewhat lost, the portability the Switch offers fills the loss.

You still need Big Pockets, but if you manage it you get about 4 hours of explosive combat and intense fighting sequences with little to think about but exploring and monster genocide.

Game is great, a lot of fun for those who missed it other systems. Only bad thing I have to say if this might not be good for kids cause the blood but its alien blood so not to bad.

Doom Standard Edition for Switch is hands down the best first person shooter ever! Highly recommended. Even on the Switch it plays very smooth.

this is the game that will take you to your childhood, remmember playing on your PC ? waiting hours to play it when you get home, great game, great experience. you gotta have it

Bought it last year for Xbox One and loved it so much I had to double dip. Sure there’s a cut back in the graphics but it’s the same amazing game portable. Cannot put it down

This is a great port for the Nintendo switch off one of my all time favorite games. I won't spoil it for you. Just gets your hands on it and play it for yourself.

This game is fun, fast, and great! It looks impressive on the Switch! Sure, it doesn’t have the exact same graphics as the PS4, but the small dip in graphics is worth having DOOM in my hands wherever I want! Great game!

One of the best shooters in this current generation now available on the switch. This is an amazing version of the game that you can take with you anywhere.

Awesome game, almost as good as teh PC version. Almost, but not really - if you are a graphics junkie go elsewhere. IF you want portable doom this rocks.

Great game, no problems, came in just as I wanted. If you want to get a higher graphical version then get the other versions but for Switch it works well

I was so excited to play this. Brought it home. Started it up. Took about 3 hours to download the updates and software. Great game overall. Lots of play

While not as incredible as the versions on PS4 and Xbox One, this Switch version is still amazing in many ways. DOOM on the go couldn't be any better.

To see this running on a handheld system is amazing. Can’t wait to see what the future of the switch have.

If you are looking for one of the best shooters this generation, this is it. Graphics and gameplay are great, you can play multiplayer on the go.

I’ve barely noticed the drop in frame rate on the switch coming from the PS4. Its awesome being able to throw on headphones & get lost in the game.

While clearly inferior in graphics to the other platforms you can get this game on, it maintains the great gameplay from the other versions and performs very well in that state. It even still has the addicting multiplayer. Also while on Switch you can take it wherever you go, I love to play it on the bus. I have played way more on Switch than i have on my PS4.

game runs smoothly on the switch. obviously the graphics are not as good as xbox or ps4 but you can play it on the go so who cares? amazing game!

I didn’t think we would get a game from this gen on a handheld console! It plays pretty well, and I am really happy what the Switch has to offer!
