Not recommended for children. I found it very difficult to make progress.

Honestly could have passed on this.. don't believe the trailer videos.. doesn't remotely meet those graphic levels... mediocre game

Doom is a great game but the port over to switch isn’t so great. The text is hard to read, and the graphics aren’t where they should be.

I have been banned online because of my kids but the game runs solid from what I’ve seen

Fun shooter for the switch if your ready to get away from Mario for a while. May scare the little ones.

Not quite what I expected but still an alright game

Doom is a great game that is better played on any other platform, and it's cheaper everywhere else too. Portability does not forgive a halved framerate, muddy visuals, and poor controls.

It's still a fun game, but this is not how it was meant to be played. Get the PC/PS4 version instead.

im sure its great on the PC but on the switch or any console the game sucks. aiming is awful, to fast and over shoot, to slow and they kill you. Only played one or two levels and then put it away and havnt touched since

Moving the character is a nightmare. I wanted to like this game, but its impossible to move around correctly.

Haven’t played this since the original 90’s PC version. Got my switch to play Skyrim, and after a month, wanted something different in addition, so decided reliving the Doom experience would be a worthy candidate. Have actually only reached the first checkpoint in solo play, and looking forward to the rest of it, but... What’s with the itty-bitty subtitles font? I assume they would reveal important information, if I could read them. But being so small, they are more of a distraction than help. They are almost useful on a 60” screen, but pretty much useless on the portable unit, since trying to use a magnifying glass is quite distruptive to gameplay. I’ll stumble my way thru and figure it all out, but thot I’d get this observation done early in hopes Bethesda miight put in an option to choose a font at least as large (but still small, although functional) as that in Skyrim.

Port looks great considering its playing on essentially a tablet. Never played on any other system, however, so I have nothing to compare it to.

The Switch continues to surprise everyone by showing just what it's capable of. This version of Doom (which includes not just the base game but the full multiplayer as well) isn't the prettiest version, but runs well, plays well, and satisfyingly delivers the experience the game was loved for.

This game looks amazing on the switch, I already have doom pre order and can’t wait to play it on the go.

A quality port! Great graphics and online multiplayer!
