this is most definitely a good game. the monsters and environments look very detailed as long as you have a decent rig.

This is a great game and runs awesome on mypc with a i5-4690K and GTX 970! Now just need more time to play the game!

If you remember the intense suspense of Doom from the 90's, you will not be disappointed. But.... I really hate that you have to wait for checkpoints to save your progress. I want them to allow me to save the progress when I want to. That said, I would still recommend this version of DOOM

As far as first person shooters this game is much fun. Thought it would be a bit repetitive but still a blast!

It's amazing how far DOOM has come and finally after all these years we have a new and improved game for 2016!

If you liked the previous games, you will love this. If you are new, get ready for a lot of fast paced fun.

Best shooter I've played in a while. As someone who grew up with DOOM II and others, it took me right back.

I have played this game before. This is a great new rendition. Great game to be able to jump in and play.

I loved playing this game, the soundtrack is intense and the action is non-stop! 4 stars because of the silly developer bug that took them a long time to patch.

In the spirit of the game, no superfluous words (save these) Fast, challenging, fair. Weapons are satisfying to use in every way. Soundtrack is cheesy to the point that it wraps back around to spectacular. Graphics - Solid and fluid at the same time. Levels - So large and full of secrets. Overall - you will not be disappointed with this game. And like the game, I will waste no more of your time. Get to it.

I haven't been excited for a game in a while but I was for Doom and I was not disappointed.

I been a dedicated doom player since it first came out in 1991, this is the best one yet.

Doom is back. One of the best games of the year. Does everything Doom is supposed to do.

DOOM 2016 is better than it has any right to be. FPS games have evolved so much since the DOOM franchise last added anything to the genre in DOOM 3, but the latest game in the franchise manages to maintain the essence of what DOOM is while also updating the gameplay mechanics into a modern FPS with great weapons and weapon upgrade trees. Also, a lot of the game's secrets are difficult but fun to find!

This is a fantastic first person shooter. Entertaining and will provide hours of fun.

make sure your computer is up to the task. Read the required system parameters. they are not kidding. Make sure your video drivers are current. The only problem I had was solved by updating my video drivers. yes this program runs under Steam. if you are not a fan of Steam then skip this game. Otherwise, it is Doom again. All the demons, blood, and such. pretty easy on the 'Don't hurt me' setting.

The game is not bad for a reboot. Make sure your settings are done right the first time or it is hard to play because of the lighting.
