I bought this without thinking about the specs on my machine matching what was required for gameplay, so I've yet to give it a shot, as I'm still building the machine I'm going to play it on. But still, it's DOOM, right? That can't be a bad thing.

ONE OF THE GREATEST VIDEO GAMES EVER. IT'S A GREAT VIDEO GAME. If you've never played it...then try Sonic the Hedgehog. You will need a powerful PC to run this game.

Doom lets you rip and tear demons, it makes slaying demons back to their homeworld easy as breathing, if you're a fan of metal and hard rock. the soundtrack will kick in giving you even more incentive to destroy demon butt.

I'm shocked at how much fun the single player mode was. The fights are as challenging as you want them with the various difficulty settings. There is good replay too with the collectables and various character upgrades.

Multiplayer needs some work as it is stuck in some weird middle ground between classic and modern. The singleplayer however is OUTSTANDING. Going back to the roots of what Doom was, while still being new and fresh.

I love the doom series and this has to be my favorite game! But you need a really good computer to run it. My PC was pre-built and was pretty decent about 4 years ago and I could not play Doom 4 even on the lowest settings. All I'm saying is that you need a pretty decent computer build to run it.

This game will keep you on the edge of your seat with its constant action and puzzle solving. Very intense with terrific graphics that runs extremely well on my 3 year old system(minimum requirements).

I've been playing Doom since the original. This is a worthy successor to the name. Great gun play and atmosphere. It's a no-brainer for Doom fans.

Like the prior Doom games I find it somewhat addictive and am blown away by the high quality graphics.

Doom is just the shooter I was looking for. It had almost zero story, but the game play, graphics, and intensity are top notch. Love this game.

Doom has been re-vamped. It's more beautiful than ever. The creatures are actually fun to kill using a "Glory Kill". What a BLAST!

This is one remake that is worth buying. Much faster paced and more difficult, but not to the point of being annoying.

As expected, DOOM didn't really disappoint. However, I for one am displeased with the multi player aspect. The single player is great, suspenseful, and worth the time invested!

This game is in the same style as previous games but with better graphics, not great graphics, but better. Game play is smoth depending on the power of the machine.

I can't wait to play this game today and kill monsters like I did a long long time ago when it first came out!

Words can't begin to describe how awesome this game is. This is just a great update to a classic franchise.

Exciting to play, could use a better multiplayer platform. I still would recommend.Overall great game.

First person shooters don't get much better. Highly recommend!!

I don't really do multiplayer, but I found the single player campaign to be a satisfying experience
