Doom is a nostalgic masterpiece that revives the "pass the stick" gameplay that most consumers remember growing up on the late 80's and 90's. I relish the thought of never having to crouch and wait for health to reload or time the enemies peaking from cover. Doom reminds me of why I love video games, it puts you in the thick of survival as wave after wave of enemies bombard you and it rewards you for overcoming the odds. Best new/old game to come out in a long time!

It's better than the Doom I used to play on other devices. The graphics are great and the action is fast moving.

Has potential but is missing something! Fun shooter but becomes repetitive after an hour or so.. I $15 for this with my best rewards so I don’t consider this purchase a total loss.

Doom ranks among the best FPS available today with smooth gameplay and controls. The action can be frantic at times since there is no place to hide and attack the enemy, for the most part. There's some exploring to get upgrades which is always welcome due to the sheer number of attackers. The graphics are top-notch and appropriate for this type of game. Excellent game for adding to your library! Highly Recommended!

Totally nuts, fast paced shooter with gameplay that's a throwback to old school Doom. Multiplayer is kind of a dud but the campaign is great.

The game was pretty good along the lines of the combat but was very confusing on how to beat each level

The game is a lot of fun and pretty fast paced. The enemies are fairly unforgiving and relentless. But like the hint on the load screen says... if you stand still, you die. Graphics are normal next gen fodder. But the pay off is the snapmap mode, where can create and play your own maps, also download and pay other users maps. There are tutorials to teach you how to create maps, so you're not flying blind. Overall the game has been a blast.

This game is good and brings back the good parts of the classic 90's FPS game, but adds enough modern elements to make this single player one of 2016's games of the year... However, with that being said, the online multiplayer is sorely lacking. Do not let that stop you from buying it though, the admission price for single player makes this roller coaster ride worth it. I realize that the younger generation of gamers might not get all the old references, but this game does an excellent job of appealing to new, and old, gamers.

Doom for the Xbox One is a great action-packed game. The graphics are amazing and the story is pretty good also. Highly recommended!

I don't care for the multiplayer but the single player is a lot of fun!! It's a long story as well.

Who would have guessed that a new DOOM game in 2016 would be one of the best games out this year. This game could have easily been a mess, but somehow it turned out to be a gem. Rarely do new games based off of old franchises turn out decent, let alone stellar. It's shocking how good this game is from the gameplay to the graphics. The single player campaign is one of the best FPS campaigns this console cycle. Highly recommended.

I love the story and campaign mode, great look and even brings back memories. I was very disappointed in the multiplayer mood, seems rushed.
