Great shooting game with beautiful graphics and the weapons with mods are fun to take out enemies

If you've ever played Doom 3 on the Xbox or are a fan of old school shooters like Quake or Unreal Championship, GET THIS GAME. The story mode is beautifully detailed, filled with brutal, unfiltered gore and action, and the multiplayer is unmatched. In a world filled with sub-par shooters (I'm looking at you, Halo and COD), this is how multiplayer should be: Break-neck speed, rapid respawn and not time for camping on a hilltop.

I am new to the Xbox world. I usually play classic consoles, old PC games, or The Sims, so I was intrigued by this game when I purchased my Xbox since I am a fan of the classic DOOM. It is a little difficult for a beginner, but this game is really awesome. The graphics are fantastic! I haven't played multiplayer yet, but I am sure it's awesome. Great game!!

Great game! The single player is primo. Multiplayer is good but not getting delirious over it.

It's an exciting game that goes back to what made Doom great to begin with. It's great fun for the whole family, provided they are old enough to see all of the blood & gore!

Doom is a refreshing take on first person shooters in that you aren't hampered by only being able to carry so many weapons, having to reload, and having opportunities to methodically make your way through the labyrinthine levels. In order to survive, you need to run and gun and kill demons without prejudice. If you're looking for a different kind of FPS, then this is the game for you. HIGHLY recommended.
