Love the overall aspect of the game from gameplay feel to story line.

Campaign is your classic doom style fps. I had alot of fun in multiplayer. All the DLC is free now too.

The score could be way better. The game-play is good. Lots of blood. May not be good for the pre-teens.

I was always a fan of Quake back in the day- didn't play much Doom. But gotta say this is very nostalgic and a lot of fun. Not much dialogue or cut scenes. Just fast paced fps action. Oh and lots of blood and gore

Doom is a tough, smart, scary game. It's the perfect blend of everything that makes a great horror 1st person shooter. You have awesome rewards for exploration, side quests that are TOUGH and Bosses that are fun and visually stunning. And that's just the Campaign. The Multiplayer is fast and fun. You will love this game!

Picked this up on black Friday for like 15 bucks and just couldn't pass it up, I played soon as a child on pc so I always told myself I was going to buy it and when I saw it on sale, deal done, it's an awesome game, playing a lot of tributes to the old, I recommend this to any gamer on any platform

I purchased this game for a great price and thought I'd give it a chance. I have not played a first person shooter in awhile, but must say that this game exceeded my expectations in every way. The best thing about the game is that it is not too hard. I play the game on medium difficulty (Hurt Me Plenty) and it is just right. There is also a bar on the top of the screen that shows you the direction you need to go next. This has been useful to me a few times throughout the game and got me to the next level. If you are looking for a first person shooter with great graphics, easy learning curve and a game thats a lot of fun, then this is the game to pick up. You won't be disappointed.

Before Call of Duty or Battlefield, gory, fast paced shooters ruled. Doom, Quake, Unreal Tournament. Frantic games that tested your reflexes and quick thinking. Doom brings that exhilarating experience to the modern day. With smart additions to traditional shooter gameplay, Doom recreates that thrill of finding yourself in a room full of monsters and having to keep moving and thinking on your feet about how to use your weapons, melee, and ammo effectively to survive and try to maximize your resources for the next battle. Recommended if you want a change up to the military shooter and get back to ridiculous monster hunting fun.

This game really caught me off guard as I was not expecting much. This is a fast shooter, it plays buttery smooth and the combination of gore, fun tone, and heavy metal soundtrack let's you have a great time. It's the best type of 90s throwback, modern and yet classic. The single player campaign is a great time. Multiplayer is too fast for me, and didn't seem balanced in the few matches I played. Players with higher ranks and better weapons definitely dominated every round. At the price the game currently is at, it is a steal for the campaign alone and I highly recommend it.

I have this game for PS4. I just bought it for my brother for Christmas. It doesn’t matter what system it’s on. This game is SO good. If you’re a fan of the originals, pick it up if you haven’t already. CoD has nothing on this FPS.

Doom is the game that got me into PC Gaming in the early 90s, so I hold it in high regard. I can't think of anything different that id/Bethesda could have done to make a 2016 entry into this series better. The graphics are great, the action, while not as fast as a pure 90s deathmatch game, is faster than anything else on consoles right now, and multiplayer is a blast. If you love shooters, get this breath of fresh air ASAP. I went from hating this game at its E3 reveal last year to pre-ordering it and loving it after the beta. Now where's my Quake reboot?

HECK. YES. A near perfect game that has it all: fast paced action, gory effects, an interesting story and the best protagonist in shooter history: DoomGuy. I’ve never played the original games but if this one is anything like them I’ll have to go back and play. I think the only thing I can knock it for is the fact that it actually doesn’t feel like any other shooter, I’m so fast and powerful even on difficult settings that I get confused and even a little motion sick. Other than that a high recommendation!!

This is an excellent reboot to the doom franchise. I’ve been a fan since the first game. There were high expectations for this game and it surpassed everything. It’s an action packed shooter from beginning to end.

This is a double-dip purchase - I had previously played the game on PS4 and wanted to add a copy for the One X. A rock-solid FPS that has great action and gunplay. If you like fast paced shooters give it a chance.

Doom, the king of twitch FPS'ers is back to re-take it's crown! The gameplay in this is one of the better games to have come out of ID lately since the last Wolfenstein. The action is fast paced and the sound is amazing. It looks great on Xbox and PS4 both, but I would recommend it on the Xbox due to the controller being better suited for shooters. The campaign is roughly 30-40 hours and is the main reason you should pick this up. Ignore the multiplayer, it's generic compared to other shooters on the market.

Doom was one of the first of this kind of game. This return is excellent with good graphics and sound and gameplay that feels nostalgic, but has enough new that it is really interesting.
