Great graphics and gameplay. Reminded me of the old doom. Nonstop action. You would think that doom lacks a a story, but it had a great background story. Moreover, it was delivered in such a way that you did not feel like it kept interrupting your gameplay. Overall, great buy.

This is definitely a good game. I have heard people talk trash about it and I am not sure why. I recommend playing on the highest difficulty as it is not crazy hard but a good challenge. If you enjoyed Wolfenstein: The New Order, this is definitely a must play game! 2 thumbs up!

Single player campaign, Xbox Live 2-12 players. What the game really needed is a coop campaign mode. Would have been a lot more fun. Still the single player campaign was great. Great graphics. Never stand still while playing this game. Gave the game 5 stars for innovation anyway.

This game has the feel of Doom 1 and 2, dropping the horror vibe of Doom 3 allowing you to just run and gun again. Enjoyed the weapon upgrades and challenges as well. Wasn't able to join multiplayer games, but i didn't buy the game for that purpose and wonder how lively the scene really is at this point, though they did just make all DLC free, so maybe that will revive it to some degree

My husband bought this game on a whim and he absolutely LOVES playing it! I don't play the game but I like watching him play. It's got a great plot, lots of gore/blood, alien creatures, huge guns, action for days!!! Doom should be a definite buy.

If you're a fan of the original 2 DOOM games you will not be disappointed with this campaign. It's fast paced, gory, exciting fun! The story may be simple but it doesn't keep you interested. I found the multiplayer tons of fun but the campaign is the main jewel :)

For me personally, this is one of, if not the best FPS campaign I have ever played. It took me almost 24 hours to finish the campaign, which I feel is long for a FPS. It took me that long with some exploration, but not 100% completion. A lot of people talk about repetitive, but I didn't feel that way. There are some things that you do in every level, but the monster spawn is never the same and the landscape is always changing, so it never felt repetitive to me. Also, as you go, you unlock so many new things that keep the game fresh throughout. Snap Map is also a very cool feature. Lots of extra content that I feel will keep me going for many, many more hours! The multiplayer is good, but not great. I am a fan of the Call of Duty multiplayer which seems to be a lot faster paced. I like the fast paced, 1 shot kill of CoD, which is not what DOOM seems to offer. Overall worth every penny.

This reworking of the original DOOM is mind blowing! There is little to no time to recover from each attack that you face throughout the game. Graphics are great. Plot is familiar. Weapons are amazing. Best FPS retooling that comes to mind in a long time.

Within the first five minutes, I was blown away by the graphics and design. I was kinda shocked that there wasn't much of an intro but it makes up for it by throwing the player right into the gritty action. It truly has come a long way from the last installment.

A wonderful new Doom game filled with practical challenges, gorgeous graphics and fun new weapons / enemies. The devs did a wonderful job of creating a creepy / hellish world that leaves you looking over your shoulder.

Fast-paced, fun, and challenging. I had some concern about Bethesda doing it, but I've greatly enjoyed the game, even with its difficulty. Not quite as scare-happy as Doom 3, and much more 'here are your weapons, walk that direction and let nothing stop you'.

Graphics are great and flow very smoothly, Storyline is good, Brought back a classic game in a very fashionable manner, If blood and demons are your thing while wearing a sick suit and weilding awesome weapons...buy this game, you won't be disappointed

This game is really fun! If you're a fan of the original Doom I & II, you're going to love this. Campaign is pretty fun. Lots of cool weapons and upgrades to use. Haven't tried online multiplayer yet. Been having too much fun playing the campaign.

This DOOM reboot has received mixed reviews from game sites and commentators. I purchased this game on a whim (and as a birthday gift for myself). I had only played Doom on the PC previous to this. The single player campaign alone is worth the purchase. The combat is an adrenaline rush as you demolish demon to demon. There is a story present that ties in previous DOOM games quite nicely. The multiplayer combat takes a while to get used to, and you will die a lot in the beginning. The character customization is fantastic, though over-bearing at times. Perhaps the greatest surprise was the Snap On mode, which is a map editor that fans can submit online. The mode is complex enough for those who have the time, and downloading other maps provides hours of fun. I highly recommend this game, especially if it should go on sale.

This is a great (but short) first person shooter. It reminds me of all the early FPS in a good way. This is challenging but fun - not punishing. I cannot comment on the multiplayer, but that seems to be where the game is taking the most heat.
