They did a great job installing my downdraft vent. From scheduling to completion, the entire process was smooth and professional. The technicians arrived on time, were knowledgeable, and clearly explained what needed to be done before starting the work. The installation was clean, precise, and done with attention to detail

I will give a 0 star if I can. The guys removed my old KitchenAid downdraft but could not install the new one properly. The most annoying thing is that the only thing they care is get paid regardless if we can use the machine. They left and leave me a downdraft without connecting to the vent duct, machine not properly seat on the countertop, and all electric wire exposed! I told them if you can not install it properly, please take the downdraft out and sit it aside so that I can get someone else to move the duct. but they are lazy to take it out and told me they won’t get paid if they can’t “install” the downdraft. they have spent one hour in my home and then must put it on pretending that they completed the job. They told me I should get another appointment to uninstall the downdraft that was improperly installed, which will cost us more money on labor. How can it be ridiculous like that!

Downdraft waiting for problem install to be corrected. Bestbuy installer ( Lone Star) was suppose to meet my contractor, scheduled for 2-4, called at 4:30 said could not make it until 7:30pm. Lone star spoke to my contractor, then decided must be faulty unit and was going to order a new unit. Still have not heard from anyone !!!

First, the product took 4 tries and 4 months from the time we ordered to the completion of the installation. The first one came was dead on arrival and needs replaced. The unit is not a one to one replacement of my older vent. If I would have known that it would take this much of trouble, I would have shopped for another better brand. Saying that, lets turn this to the unit itself. This is a 36 inch stainless steel downdraft vent. It comes separate than the blower and so, sizing is important. The unit is quite silent as it moves up and down. The hood itself is quite high at run condition. Would like if we can adjust this height. The blower is also not as noisy as the old one. There is only 1 button on the unit to start lifting the vent. All control buttons are hidden and so, if the vent does not lift - you are out of luck. The brushed stainless steel does leaves fingerprints and so keeping it shiny is tough. Overall, Viking design as I see it is not user friendly and actually does not look as good as the older unit. For sure this is not a cost out product even for replacing an equivalent Viking product. However, its still a good performance product.

Our appliance installer recommended this down draft after inspecting our kitchen prior to install of our new gas range. Based on the space, the KitchenAid downdraft we ordered would not fit, and he said this particular one rises higher, and requires less space, so we went with his recommendations. Even being a different brand than our gas range, it's not even something you would notice, and thus far, we're very pleased with how quiet and well it works.

The product is great it fit perfectly where the old one was and it works better than the other one. The installers were very nice and professional once they finally came to the house. The only problem, the first two appointments no show and no call that no one is coming and I had a six hour window. Third time was a charm!!!

Works great in my island. Quiet yet powerful. Filters are dish washer safe.

The first installation tech was horrible. He installed the downdraft at an angle and the downdraft when raised and lowered was metal on metal. He claimed that was normal. He also did not clean up and said that was not his responsibility. The great news is my Sales consultant Chris handled everything and all was resolved. Best Buy replaced the Downdraft and all is good.

The installers missed the install window three times. Finally installed. The installation looks great. Just disappointed in the lack of communication and terrible scheduling. Bestbuy was good about making me happy in the end and will try to fix the communication issues so it doesn't happen again.

This down draft vent hood has a geometric shape to it I didn’t expect and am not sure I like (the online photo doesn’t capture the side panels accurately). Controls are very basic. Seems to work fine, though.

If you have to use down draft this is a great choice. Only had for a short time but so far is great. Very powerful and love how it goes up and down. Definitely does a great job. Huge improvement from our old model.

The two technicians came on time. They were very professional and highly knowledgeable about the Viking downdraft and blower, and they did an excellent job.

Great product and a fantastic installation! This was not an easy install but the "geek squad" guys were creative and did top notch custom work.

The new downdraft vent was installed in the existing cut-out in our granite countertop. The installation was exactly as the instruction sheet called for (braces, vent, etc., installed). Could not ask for better or more careful work. Very satisfied with the installer's work. Full cleanup after the install, all packing and waste material removed.

Good downdraft with much lower noise level than my previous unit. It came with the blower so it is much cheaper than unit that blower has to be purchased separately

I looked all over the internet for a replacement downdraft vent for my recently dead Broan vent. I was quoted so many prices for the hardware and then I had to do a separate search for independent installers. In the end Best Buy came through for me with a very competitive vent price and they took care of the installation for me ( for a very reasonable price). My new Zephyr downdraft is great. It works perfectly and the variable speed fan catches almost all of the cooking odors and sends them outside. Best Buy's install team did an excellent job as well.

Team did an excellent job installing downdraft. As far as I can tell, everything fit and is working properly.
