The installer came and left within 10 minutes. He stated that we had the incorrect vent. However, it was subsequently installed using the parts he said was incorrect. I intend to seek a refund of the prepaid $200.

Although the vent itself works properly, the installation left a lot of room for improvement. There is a gap that allows loose food particles to fall into the unit. After a few attempts, the installer responded back that he can correct the problem for an additional fee. I agreed to pay what it takes to correct the problem. He has not been heard back from since.

Man I could write a fn paper on how spicy bad our install has gone. Bunch of lists and thieves. Stay away

The new models are okay but the raised system much better at removing odor. Love it

Great product that requires great installation. Definitely recommended.

Installers came out three times. First time they said we didn’t have a gas connection pipe. I didn’t recall needing for us to have this. Second time they said the gas connection pipe was too short. They never told us what length, we measured and thought it would be long enough. Third time they installed and said they’d come back to complete the installation when we had brackets to keep gas stovetop from moving. Seriously!!!

3 downdrafts later, first- by zephyr -installers arrived and need to read the installation guide from top to bottom. They said they had installed this zephyr downdraft and clearly they had no experience. they got frustrated when they thought parts weren't there, but instead found inside the unit (w/experience would have known this) left it hanging and unable to use. refused to install the blower, saying it wasnt part of the order. left huge mess we had to clean up, shaving's wrappers, gloves etc. on a bright note, they were nice :)

Great option if do not or cannot go up with stove vent. Have used for a year without major issue. Top plate will come off if stuff near it when it is moving. Works best for cooking near it, does not pull all air from furthest cooking surface but does well enough for my needs. If have Smokey food I adjust and cook closer to vent without issue.

the start button doesn’t work properly. The function of ventilation is not efficient compared to its high price.

6 times out to install stove top and you scheduled the wrong team. Still not installed. 2 out of 3 appliances ordered were missing parts or damaged. (KitchenAid -boxes not damaged). AWFUL customer service. Let’s hope the 7th time works as I never will step foot in another Pacific Sales or Best Buy again.

Erick did a great job. He took extra time to make sure that the control panel for the vent was properly placed and made sure that I was comfortable with operating it.
