Great step in the right direction very satisfied with it as a Dragon Ball fan and a Tenkaichi fan I have asked Bandai to make a sequel to Tenkaichi for years and this didn't disappoint in the gameplay department but at the moment of writing this review the game lacks content that will keep you playing for years and online is currently unbalanced in multiplayer. But I'm confident with a sequel or updates and patches it will improve in future and really become the definitive dragon ball experience. Character roster is very good minus some characters missing, we need a lot more arenas, story can be a lot more in depth and better and I don't care if it's "same story" but all in all a great step in the right direction hopefully in sequels they borrow character creation from past dragon ball games and add more customization to make it last longer but still a solid game.

Just the best, having waited since BT3 was 100% worth it.

This game is amazing. Budokai Tenkaichi 3 was my favorite dragon ball game of all time, but this game is now my favorite. This is my 2024 GOTY. I bought the ultimate edition and money well spent. I'm really looking forward to what the future holds for this game.

On xbox go and manage the game.. once in there click the gane icon and you will see manage installation.. in there you will see thag you need to download the missing items that you paid for. Pre order bonus season pass bonus etc. Hope this helps anyone

A very fun game with a huge roster of characters. At the release of the game there are no microtransactions and every character can be earned just from playing the game. Controls are fun and easy to pick up. The combat while seems basic as some depth when trying to pull off certain moves and counters. Graphics are amazing and everything you would expect from a Dragon Ball game. The story mode is nice and has some twist as well to change the story from the original story. If you never watched the show the story mode does leave a lot out. The mode is more of a quick glimpse at the show highlighting the most important moments. Voice acting is done very well. Not a lot of cutscenes. Also has a few different tournament modes for offline and online, PVP for offline and online as well. If you are a fan of the series you will enjoy it a lot and if you are newcomer you can easily get addicted to the combat.

Picked up my copy early not sure if the pre oder code was supposed to be in the box or Best Buy was supposed to email it but I never recieved it while my friends who got the digital copy have acess to it no problem. Im still going to give it 5 stars but how can I situate getting my pre order bonus?

Arrived in perfect condition! UPS delivered late but i know that Best Buy doesnt control that. Still its one of the greatest games i have played this year! Its a blast to play with friends! I highly recommend it! The art card was super cool as well!

The game is great, but im missing the dlc on both the xbox copy and the ps5 copy. I’ve tried to contact support but they aren’t any help

Great to finally see this game get its sequel it wellingly deserved.

Whenever I bought the ultimate edition and pre ordered, I did not get the daima goku (I guess everyone else is saying that too).

The game itself is awesome. I got my code with all the "ultimate" version dlc but missing the pre-order dlc characters. I got the same version on steam and can use them. Looks like someone made a mistake somewhere and hopefully it can get resolved. Until then, 2 stars for the xbox version.

As a die-hard DBZ fan, this was on my instant pre-order list. If you've played the classic Budokai games, this will bring back memories & show you how far the game industry has come. Graphics are amazing, gameplay is superb and it is a TON of fun. The game isn't easy, but that's part of the fun!

I’m missing all of the DLC characters that were supposed to come with the preorder. Supposedly those who preordered digitally are having no issues, but anyone who got physical copies aren’t getting them. If that’s the case, and we can’t get those “preorder DLC characters” we should be refunded the difference since we basically got the standard edition.

Best dragon ball game out there. So much fun to play. Y'all should definitely play it.
