If you're a fan of the original Dragonball Z anime then this a must buy. It follows the story almost down to the very last detail. While the main story excels on its own the addition of an open world really takes this game to the next level. More than just a fighting game as now you can explore the Dragonball Z universe as you fly around playing as various different characters. Loads of sidequests and secret bosses will have you playing well after you beat the main story.

Is simply the best Dragonball adventure experience. For me is better than othe Dragonball games in term of adventure.

The story line is consistent with the show. The graphics are insane and the rpg format makes this game a hit!

You can't stop playing. Love new story side quest with all old character. Also you can go any where in game.

Welcome back to the good old, nostalgic story of Dragon Ball Z. This is a fun to watch as well as play role playing game/ beat em up that lets you play as Goku, Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta and Trunks as you fight, level up, gain new techniques and improve old ones as you play through the original story of this anime.

Fun game to get to play the dragon ball series. Can't wait till they drop the dlc

It is a fun game. It takes a little time to get used to how they want you to play. It is not a true RPG game and the battles aren't as great as the other DBZ fighting games but it is what it is. The best advice is to take your time going through the story and adventure to all of the side quests. If you go straight to all of the main quests then side missions that were available during that part in the story are now gone and you would have to start a whole new game just to get back to those quests.

The cut scene's can be flashy and exciting. But otherwise this game is the most 'average' game I have ever played. It does absolutely nothing wrong. But does absolutely nothing that exciting, different or overtly fun. Boss fights can be unique, but the grunt variety is severely limited. Very average game. Even for long time DBZ fans I would recommend a pass. Probably better for kids.

Been waiting way too long for a game like this from my favorite anime. I always thought how awesome it would be to have an open world RPG DBZ game and it has finally arrived. Only thing i must complain about is having to keep switching characters throughout the game. Wish it was exclusively for Goku as the game title suggests but nonetheless, it was a very fun game!

This game is fun all the way around. As one that didn't play xenoverse, I enjoyed the fighting mechanic, and story telling. However, this game feels like it is missing a ton of story and opted for more filler. The cell saga was the worst part of this game. You don't really get to play as Future Trunks until endgame. He's really just there for the ride. Maybe they can fix this in an update, but for the most part I loved this game and can't wait for the DLC
