great rpg. some cons are the loading and frame rate but the portability is always a plus for the switch.

If you liked the first Dragon Builders game then stop reading and go buy this now. It's a perfect sequel to the masterful original. If you like building and strategy games this is a must purchase. I'd recommend playing the first game, but you should buy them both when you pick the first one up!

This is a really fun sequel and a great game in general. Fans of the original should love it and even if you never played the original, I think you will still enjoy it a lot.

Not as good as Minecraft or Dragon Quest. But it's got its own thing going for it.

I picked up this game and I could not put it down. The storyline is amazing and the game mechanics are extraordinary. This is one of the best games I’ve played in the last few years. The only downside to it is some of the dialogue takes forever to get through and cannot be canceled or passed up. The timer literally lasts a minute per dialog sentence with 2-4 sentences each time. Other than that I love this game. The building sandbox post game keeps me coming back

If you don't want any story or structure just play Minecraft, otherwise try this. Really fun and a great sequel to the first game. I guess if you didn't like the first one you wouldn't really like this but if you had any fondness for it you should adore this. It's a refined but similar gameplay experience. Yes, some of the scriptings are obviously intended for a Linear A->B style playthrough but there's as much freedom as you want outside the specific, story-driven tasks.

If you liked the first Dragon Quest Builders, you'll like this sequel. It follows the same formula plus a few additions. Most notably, you have the opportunity to play in a persistent sandbox throughout the game, rather than just at the end of the main story like in DQB1.

If you like the first version and like the game play then this is a continuation and will complement each other with more characters to play in the story line. Just remember you need to learn the controls as that is part of the game play to have fun.

This is a good game, if you liked the first you'll more than likely love this one. It takes most of what made the first one good and expands on it. More than just a series of building challenges across 4 or 5 islands, this one takes more of an Animal Crossing bent. If you're like me and not really a huge Dragon Quest fan, then some of the inside jokes and lore will probably be lost on you, but it's still a very good game.

This game is addicting! I was given the minimum task of building a house and ended up building a mansion! There's a good sense of progression through the game without the restriction of freedom and exploration of doing whatever you want whenever you want!

Dragon Quest Builders 2 is a great sequel to the original. Gameplay is a mashup of Minecraft and Dragon Quest. Gameplay from the original game didn’t change that much but including local co-op is great. Excellent purchase.

Great game for fans of builders and RPGs alike. It has an engaging story and lots of room for creativity. It builds (pun intended) on the mechanics of the first game while allowing you to go wild creating your own kingdom between story bits.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 builds on the first game in some excellent ways. I won't list them all out here as there are much better reviews available out on the internet already, but if you liked the first one, you'll love this game!

Great game for the price. It’s a wonderful game for kids. It plays almost like Minecraft. Got it on clearance for $9. It also available on PS4 and Xbox. Plays good on switch and looks good on it also.

If you liked the first Dragon Quest builders, this game is a must buy! It takes all the great things from the first game and makes it even bitter! The trailer for the game literally speaks for it self, by saying Bigger and Better!

Getting the game as a digital code is quick and nice.

I love this game. I loved the first one, but I love this one even more. If you're wanting to build replicas of 18th century China, or NYC, etc then Minecraft will obviously be a better tool.
