An alternative to Final Fantasy Games.The exploring and battling with Monsters is highly enjoyable especially that it is randomly chosen, making it feel different and less repeatative.The collecting of stones is cool as well adding to all the excitement.A game all will enjoy playing for hours and hours.

Better than the first game in almost every way. There are still many characters with different personalities and abilities you can control. Tons of enemies and many good optional challenges. The end game can be pretty grindy and maintains a good difficulty, so you don't feel like you're just breezing through the game.

I haven't put as much time as I'd like to in this title, but so far it looks fantastic in terms of art style, the voice acting is on point, and the gameplay manages to be similar to musou games without being mind-numbingly boring, which is pretty impressive.

If you have previously played Dynasty Warriors, DQH2's combat is more than button mashing. If you have, its got characters from previous games that just keep making you want to see whos next. Better single player than multiplayer in my opinion

I enjoyed the first (never finished now that I think about it) and this also seems like a nice next step in the series. As with my review of Injustice 2 it is nothing ground breaking here and can get repetitive but still a solid game in the series.

I really enjoy this game. It is what it is if you've ever played any of these games it will always be more of the same but it is nice seeing more people from games I liked in the past and a vast improvement in my opinion over the first game.

i played the first version on my ps1, and the graphic was night and day. this game is fun with okay story line but similar to other musou game, it gets a little tedious at the end. but if you can get it on sale, it's still a good buy

Great game and price, it is selling for 20 dollars, worth the full price tag. Great for fans of Dragon Quest and action games. This one is not RPG but is a action game in the Dragon Quest world. Fun to play, good for the whole family.

This game is a combination of classic RPGs and hack-and-slash action, its an improvement of the first one, with a similar but improved story and questing. It allows you to travel the world while smash some monster on the way while competing challenges, quest and achievements. The medal system now allows players to transform in a variety of monsters, each with unique skills and fun animations. The co-op multiplayer (which the first Dragon Quest Heroes notably lacked) adds the ability to fight alongside up to three other players "sadly" through only story battles or short dungeons to gather materials. It could use some improvement due to connectivity issues during the matching process and I really wish you could travel the whole world with your friends but is not possible at the moment.

Dragon Quest Heroes 2 is a followup to the first title. It's an excellent hack and slash romp. I purchased this on the PS4, but am curious to pick up a title for the Nintendo Switch, since it seems like this would be a fun experience on the go.

Good redo of a classic New skill board is not as diverse

If you are a fan of the series you should definitely pick up this game!

If you played the first game, it's much like that: Dynasty Warriors but with a Dragon Quest aesthetic. Only this time around, they made it more RPG like and even included a 4 player online co-op mode, which is neat. I really enjoyed this one.

This is a warriors game with dq 11 characters! Much is the same from warriors, hacking through tons of enemies with ease while including great dq characters, enemies, and music!

This is the first Dragon Warrior(Quest) game I've purchased since DQ 9 on the DS back in the day. Meshing DQ and Dynasty Warriors actually works better than I figured it was. Definitely fun.

For my girl she loves these games and will be happy

I think the first game is better and obviously cheaper than this version. So I recommend getting that version instead. I also think you should play #1 before jumping into #2.
