Great game despite Switch's limited graphics

That same fun carries over to the Switch version, although the graphics are severely limited due to the Switch's already outdated, (at it's launch), hardware capabilities. That being said, the Switch version of DQXI has the Japanese 3DS' 2D mode as an option to play the entire game through. If you're a fan of traditional turned based RPGs, and you love old school 2D sprites, you'll love playing this game in 2D mode on the Switch!
