Classic Dragon Quest look and feel with some modern quality of life improvements. If you've ever been curious about playing a game in the Dragon Quest franchise, but may have been tentative because of it's traditional and classic style gameplay, Dragon Quest XI is an excellent place to start. Modern perks such as beautiful graphics, auto save, and guided objectives make this a great starting point in the DQ series.

Definitely the definitive version

Now when the Switch version was announced as definitive edition, honestly I was skeptical. Let me tell you they are correct, the orchestra music alone is incredible, but with all the extra character play through ( won’t spoil it here) and the 2d mode , it was worth double dipping to play this remarkable game once again.

If you're looking for an RPG on Switch, do yourself a favor and get Dragon Quest 11 S instead. 2D mode, orchestral soundtrack, it looks and runs fabulously, a landmark addition to the library.

Amazing open world game

My first gaming experience with Dragon Quest, but I'm a veteran Zelda player. If you're a fan of Breath of the Wild, you'll love the amazing graphics of this game and the open world exploration qualities. The fight sequences are turn-based, which isn't my favorite style, but every other aspect makes up for it. Can't wait to dive into this new fantasy world!

I spent over 10hrs on the demo and the save data transferred over! Im just happy to be able to play this amazing rpg anywhere. I highly recommend to anyone and if ur not sure theres a demo available
