Customers are saying

Customers are positive about Dragon's Dogma 2's engaging gameplay, expansive open world, and compelling story, with many praising the exploration and unique pawn system. However, customers are negative about the inconsistent performance and frame rate issues experienced on some platforms, as well as the lack of a steelbook case for some pre-orders. The limited fast travel options also drew criticism. While some found the difficulty level manageable, others felt it lacked challenge.

I was a huge fan of the first games on the PS3 and this is just as fun if not better. Gameplay is similar to the first so players of the original will have no issues jumping right in and understanding it. Graphics are great and open world is filled with enemies and excitement. Combat and gameplay is fun and engaging.

Dragon's Dogma 2 is such a great game. As a fan of the original, this one even took a bit for me to warm up to, but when I did, I was having a blast. With it's signature awesome Capcom combat to the sweet classes to the expansive and thrilling open-world exploration, there is a lot here to dig through. Fully recommend!

I’ve put 80+ hours into this game on steam already and just wanted to get a physical copy of it on my PlayStation. It’s my GOTY from last year.

The product is good. Dont worry about the microtransaction reciew bombs. Def font need them to enjoy the game. At time of writing, Capcom has announced they are going to addresses much of the communities concerns refarding starting a new save game. I was however expecting to receive the steel case foe this game as advertised when i pre-ordered. But when I went to pickup i recircrd a regular game case.

The game looks great. Has a great feel for the dragons dogma series. I'm 3/4 through the game and so far there aren't really and new monsters that were promised. They didn't add alot of the fun things from previous games. They had a whole library of monsters from drsgons dogma online that they could have used and nothing. Only hope is that they add more through updates.

The product is great, I have enjoyed playing it so far. Not sure about all the hate over micro transaction. You can play the game without ever having to touch them. The staff at the Issaquah Best Buy not the best. Try getting them to help with anything. Probably the last thing I'll buy from them. I would recommend this game for people who enjoy RPGs

The game itself I feel is a 5/5. Unfortunately, enjoyment of the game is hindered by poor graphics and process performance. The game struggles to maintain 30 FPS in action packed encounters and heavily populated environments. The developers attempted to mitigate FPS drops in cities by massively reducing the distance of NPC spawn in; you will have NPCs spontaneously appear only 10 feet ahead of your character. Capcom should not have released the game in this state.

The game offers an amazing experience and wild world to explore. Even when walking from one town to the other it’s easy to get lost and side tracked in a way that feels natural. The combat is some of the best I’ve seen in recent games. Definitely GoTY contender

A wide open world that at times feels annoying. Sometimes something as simple as fast travel carries consequences or takes a needlessly long time to unlock. I had great time but if you get easily bored this might not be for you.

There is an error in the listing with the steelbook. Customer Service in Spokane Valley was very helpful. The manager Darrek was able to find one in another store for us to pick up. Apparently the steelbook is not being added to the order for some reason. If it had not been at a store close by, he was able to look up the steelbook to order, and he was going to waver the fee. If you are wanting your steelbook pre order, ask the manager if they can order it for you and show them it was shown in the games listing. Please remember the store staff has no idea why this is happening and be patient with them, and hopefully you are lucky enough to get a manager willing to order the steelbook for you and show great customer service like Darrek did.

The game has an amazing character creator and visuals but after the first few hours it kind of stagnates. I love Capcom and the optional item/currency micro-transactions arent a huge deal for me but afte 20hrs and only coming across maybe 6-7 enemy types and a slow story, I havent picked it back up since launch week. Also, like everyone else, the steel book never showed up and when I chatted with Best Buy online they basically said thanks for your money but sorry about your case.

It's a pretty good game, not as good as Dark Arisen. The support isn't there either. Still got my fingers crossed for that to change in the future

This game has tons going for it, even if there’s some roughness around the edges. A huge, vast world with exploration at its heart, a clever “pawn” system that allows you to employ characters from other players’ games, and a satisfying, epic storyline. RPG fans won’t want to miss it.

Game was purchased for my adult son. He said there were many areas to explore. It was nice to have Ox carts for faster travel. It’s very satisfying and rewarding to defeat large beasts and to have a nice open world to explore.

I was a huge fan of the original and I have loved every minute of this sequel. The character creator is fantastic, and the game is fun, it's difficult when you first start but as you level up and get better gear it levels out.
