So with the third film coming out soon, my nephew and I began watching the episodes on Netflix. As we were watching, we noticed they kept referencing story lines and characters that were not in the films. After doing some research , I found that there was two seasons (4 DVD sets) that aired on TV. Watching these cleared up those questions and it was quite enjoyable to watch for my nephew who is 7. Heck even me in my late 20s I'll admit I like it a lot too.

the tv episodes are as well done as the movies, great for the kids and as an adult it's my favorite dreamworks animation

As a fan of the original movie, I watched this dvd with pleasure. I'm glad these episodes have much less fighting than the Defenders of Berk series.

Missed this when it was on TV so glad I had a chance to catch it.

It was what we had been looking for. It was perfect.

I've really enjoyed all the various Dragons of Berk episodes. They're funny, witty and very good image wise. I have all of the ones so far available and look forward to part 2 of this one and the new movie coming to theaters.

My kids love these episodes. They watch them more than the original movies. I really takes the story line of the dragons to the next level. I am sure they will wear the DVD out before all is said and done.

The shows are as entertaining as the original movie and keep our sons entertained. I've actually caught myself watching a few of the episodes. The only reason I didn't give them the full five stars on this is because the graphics are not as good as the movie. It's understandable, but still good.

I enjoyed watching the movie with my grandsons. A great value, because we are sharing, the DVDs with both sets of grandsons, one gets the regular DVD and the other gets the Blu-Ray.

This series is a great continuation of the How To Train Your Dragon Movie! The animation was slightly better in the movie (to be expected, budgetwise), but most probably won't notice.

A family favorite between the young and old. We loved the first movie and couldn't believe there was a DVD!! The stories are fantastic, detailed and warm.

This 2-disc set was made from the Cartoon Networks series of the same name. They were NOT made in Hi-Def, so don't bother looking for the BluRay version of this set. At least you won't have to sit through any commercials.

Son loves all the how to train your dragon DVDs. It's great they have a variety so we don't watch the same one over and over.

I Love the movie and the tv show . And can't waiting for the movie " How to train your dragon 2" come out on dvd.

My wife and I watched some of the episodes on CN but missed a few. This was a great way to watch them all

I bought my wife the entire video collection. She and my kids love it!

My boys, ages 4 & 6, both love this series and have enjoyed how it continues the story after the movie.

This movie is good for little ones and it keeps him entertained over and over again.

I'm so happy my son loves these...that way I can watch them over and over again.
