So far I have found out it's onlt effective when you are very close to it. I thinks it's okay for a small area. A very small room or office. Would be nice under your desk for example, and right by your feet. Or on a table top very near to you. Again, a nice little heater as long as you are right next to it. But as I have read in other reviews where it can heat an entire room up. I haven't found that to be true. But it is nice as long as you are no more than 4-5 feet from it!

So the heating element was just running with no cooling. This is a massive fire hazard needless to say.
