Beside for the basic humidifier functions, which it does well, its cool to be able to control it from an app. You can see the ambient humidity which is neat too, and it gives you a graph of how its changed over time. You can set it to an auto mode where it will only turn on when it drops below a certian humidity % that you can set. It also gives you a reminder after 100 hours of run time that its time to clean the tank. I didnt know this when I bought it, but its got a spot for you to put a few drops of essential oil too! I definitely recommend over just a regular humidifier.

We have a pug who has a stoma, so we must have a cool mist running throughout the night for her. This humidifier is great! The app allows us to set a schedule to turn it on every night and turn it off every morning without thinking about it. The only thing we have to worry about is filling it with water and cleaning it. The app alerts you if it gets completely out of water and when it needs cleaned.
