Just purchased this device, installation was easy. Purchased it for better motion detection sensor without battery drainage. Also much easier to hide the cables, I just used the obd connection and then usb type c from dash cam to this device.

Installation was easy as advertised, and now I have more peace of mind when leaving my car parked in an unfamiliar area. My Rexing dashcam from 2020 still working just as well 5 years later and now I'm glad to get this extra upgrade!

The kit works as described with proper installation. I found that the sensor performs best when mounted in the center of the windshield, where it has the optimal angle to detect motion. Keeping the windshield clean is also essential, as dirt or debris can interfere with the sensor's accuracy.

The idea is interesting, instead of the camera activating when the car is hit, this will turn the camera on for a few seconds if it detects movement. It also has a voltage level setting to prevent draining the battery. It includes power cables for both charging types of Rexing cameras. The unit gets its power from a ODB2 connector. My only issue is it does not come with a hardwire option. I can see this being included in future Rexing cameras.

Just added to my car for additional safety. It did what it intended to do. The setup was easy and very well hidden behind the mirror. Good so far.

The Rexing Intelligent Hardwire Kit works exactly as advertised. Installation was straightforward, and I appreciate that it comes with everything needed to get up and running quickly. My dashcam now powers on automatically and continues recording with parking mode after I turn off the car — no more worrying about a drained battery thanks to the built-in voltage protection. It’s a clean, set-it-and-forget-it solution that keeps wires out of sight and the camera running reliably.

I have been using it for few days and it works good. I wish there was a more detailed specification on how it works, at least I did not find it. But I got that answered by Rexing customer support.

This is a great replacement for the older hardwire kit that I had before.. works well. haven't yet got to experience the 360 parking monitor.. definitely a nice addition to the rexing system.

Tested it in a parking lot. It detected each time moving object approaching, and started a recording about 1.5 minute or long depending on how long the object was moving around. A great ad-on gadget to your dash cams. Haven't tested its compatibility with other brand, but it works very well with all my Rexing cams, even with the dual cams supporting front and rear cams. It has to be powered by the OBD port, so if you already have a device connected to OBD (like some GPS tracker devices), you need to either stop using that device or buy an OBD adapter to support both. Very easy to wire and install.

The device is a compact like a small dash camera. Built quality and performance is good so far. I will update this review later if find any issue. So far so good.

This is a great add-on if you don't want to hardwire your Rexing dash cam into the fuse box. This one goes into the OBDII port, so it's easier to install.

This is a GREAT kit to add to your already existing dash cam. Think of it like an expansion kit, it upgrades your camera to have 360 sensitive capabilities. This is really useful for older cars who don’t have these features, and in a world where people will key your car or hit and run. This fills that need

Great option for easy install. No searching for switched and live circuits. Just plug and play

I have mixed feelings about this device. In order to use it, you have to connect it to the outlet that is used by the insurance companies to track your driving. Also, I think by having it, you are blocking too much of your vision

It works great. Love it. You will have to install it, which takes some work.

Very useful for monitoring all directions and protecting my stuff

This nicely adds to the features of the cameras I already own and not requiring replacing cameras already in use. It is a good way to add functionality to the cameras for use when the car is not running. A good way for Rexing to keep up with competition and camera features offered by other camera manufacturers. I have been using different Rexing cameras for several years in several cars.

Added to my existing dash cam and it seen well for now. Haven’t reach battery cut out voltage yet but i believe it will cut out. I added this because there are a lot of accidents in my work parking. For now, i am satisfied that my car has another protection. I will update if something wrong.

Excellent choice to complete your in road security dash camera with a 360⁰ angle view. Protect your car with it. It is the best choice.
