Need I say more? This has been the best action movie series since the original Dune!

I cant say anything bad about this movie. Great story, great picture and sound quality! Watched it numerous times and still wanted to watch for more. Considered it as one of my favorite film. Can't wait for the part 2 and 3. Warner Brothers did a great job for the transfer done in the 4k bluray. I just wish it's presented onIMAX format to greatly appreciate the scope of the surroundings without cropping some information.

Hands down the best thing going for Dune is the stunning visuals from beginning to end. Director Denis Villeneuve compiled a beautiful collection of scenes that are truly a sight to see. One thing you’ll notice is how the cinematography seamlessly compliments so many elements in the film. Dune is so masterfully shot, that you could watch this movie on mute and still be entertained. Unlike the original film and the TV series, the plot was easy to follow. Despite the dense, sci-elements in the story, I appreciated the focused approach on only one group/family. It was helpful to explore this fantasy world and all the cool technology through the perspective of just a few characters. As a result, it doesn’t take long to have a sensible grasp of the underlying politics and motivations of various characters. Timothée Chalamet was exceptional as Paul Atreides. His performance made me care about his character’s journey and his potential growth. Oscar Isaac as Duke Leto was also great in his role. He presented such a stoic feel to his character that almost steals every scene he’s featured in. Jason Momoa as Duncan, totally badassery!!! While the role may have been small, this was right in Momoa’s lane especially when it came to his fight scenes. Of all of the roles, Stellan Skarsgård surprised me the most as The Baron. He was completely unrecognizable thanks to both his delivery and the Dune make up team. I'm looking forward to the next part!

Finally watched it from beginning to end and this movie is so good. Can't wait for part 2.

I enjoyed watching this movie very much. I think that this movie is a great remake of the original movie and I also thought that the special effects were great. I think the original movie can still hold it's own but the special effects in this movie are newer and more updated. I would recommend this movie to any fans of the original movie and also to people who are watching the movie for the first time.

Better than the original Dune!! The movie has both a plot and story line surprises. This is what makes a movie a good movie. Keeps you close to the screen without pausing or taking a break. The actors are well chosen for the roles they play. If you didn't see the original version, it's not a game changer, but it is interesting to compare both and how they deal with similar movie making issues only years later.

Great video disc with awesome color and Dolby Atmos sound. Definitely one to add to a video collection.

There are very very few movies these days that are even worth watching, let alone movies that are worth rewatching, but Dune is a masterpiece. The art direction, score, actors and special effects are all incredible. I can easily say that this was the best film of 2021 and would highly recommend. That said, it's not a big dumb action movie and if you're looking for straight entertainment, this isn't it.

Saw the movie on Metflix for the forst time and wanted to own it. I loved it

This is a reference quality 4K Bluray, particularly for the audio. I was reading how the sound engineers for this film created the various sounds using innovative means. I had installed a new 3.1.2 soundbar for my tv so wanted to test it out and bought this Bluray for that purpose. This is a great film by master filmmaker Denis Villeneuve.

Bought this blu-ray for my brother, one of the best films of 2021.

Pretty sure the sound is my favorite thing about this disc. The sound design is fresh and well executed. The music is fantastic. Dolby Atmos with height effects is excellent if you can do it. The picture isn't going to look super super sharp (but that wasn't the intent) but it will look a bit like film despite being shot digitally. Native 4K intermediate is greatly appreciated.
