In a word - WOW! Stunning video and reference-quality audio. I have a very expensive 7.2 audio system and the audio on this makes every penny I spent on my system worth it. Simply stunning. My only criticism is that dialog, especially vocal whispering, was sometimes hard to hear. My wife also noticed this. I had to turn up the center channel volume quite often.

I enjoyed the original movie (1984) based on the Frank Herbert science fiction classic novels. I love this reboot of the original movie. The special effects in this film were great and more realistic and advanced than the previous film. Also, I liked the storyline and the fact that this movie will be in two parts. This allows more development of the characters and subplots to the movie.

This steelbook is absolutely outstanding. The film itself is a must-own on 4k.

Between the all-star cast, massive scale production, stunning cinematography, and haunting, otherworldly score, DUNE has never looked or sounded better. Story-wise, it hits most of the book’s major and minor beats, and while it could have fleshed out a couple things a bit more, this is hands down the most complete and least cornball adaptation yet - or will be when Part Two comes out.

Have not read the books, but overall really enjoyed what they did in this movie.

I wasn’t familiar with the Dune universe before watching this one, but thoroughly enjoyed it. I honestly did have to watch it a couple of times to fully understand the different factions, characters, and the world as a whole, but it is well worth it. The visuals and sound are top-tier and is a great showcase for a 4k system.

DVDs in store is a good idea! Don't take physical media out of Best Buy

Wow...I remember how obscure the original was. This new version is great! The 4K transfer, the color tones and the sound! So much LFE I picked up the soundtrack! This will put multiple subs to the test. Can not comment on ATMOS, I have an older Denon, waiting on the 2023 receivers to come out. This is definitely one to have in a collection.

Great movie, great packaging. Very nice addition to the collection. What more can I say? The movie isn’t for everyone I guess but it’s well made. If you liked the style of Blade Runner 2049 (which I did) then it’ll feel very familiar here. Also keep in mind it’s part one (of two I think) so it doesn’t really tie everything up at the end which some people get kind of upset about.
