Good movie and quality product. Watched it a few times and probably will watch again.

Villeneuve's DUNE is probably thr best science fiction movies I've seen in years. Excellent world building, it all feels authentic, and an interesting story. I don't want to spoil anything in this review. I will say that my only complaint for the film is that in the worldbuilding, theres plenty of exposition dumps AND illustrating what they said. It is show AND tell, but that's small potatoes. I highly recommend and look forward to Part 2.

I really liked the 3d effect that it had. It was a feature not the only reason to watch the movie.

i saw in theatres with friends, fell asleep watching it, so I bought the movie to rewatch and see with my brothersm I still have the same thoughts, just a big borinc epic, it needs the 2nd part in order to make the story complete, but I enjoy it on subsequent viewings, which is a good sign. Never read the books, so that mightve helped my enjoyment levels.Qualitt of the packaging was great, Im picky about that, and it is very visually stunning, but the over valie of the film, not worth the original high asking price, I onlt got it as it was on sale

This movie is beautiful, score is awesome, story is great, acting is award worthy….just love it!

My daughter and I were blown away by Dune when we saw it in theaters. We're both fans of Denis Villeneuve and the combination of thoughtful and visceral qualities that he brings to sci-fi movies. This one is no different and the attention to both scale and detail seems part of his auteur sense. The steel book is a treat and conveys some of that spirit through the artistic choices. Very pleased. Hope it comes back in stock!

I cant say anything bad about this movie. Great story, great picture and sound quality! Watched it numerous times and still wanted to watch for more. Considered it as one of my favorite film. Can't wait for the part 2 and 3. Warner Brothers did a great job for the transfer done in the 4k bluray. I just wish it's presented onIMAX format to greatly appreciate the scope of the surroundings without cropping some information.

Frank Herbert gets done right. It's half a movie but it's still worth the watch.

I didn’t know anything about Dune other than the film released back in the day. But I know it’s from Director Denis Villeneuve who is a wizard at filmmaking, just look at Prisoners, Sicario, and Blade Runner 2049. If you want the next Lord of the Rings, but in space, this is the perfect film for you. The 4K is out of the world as well and can probably be seen as a demo

Besides how good the movie is. The visuals really kick in near the end. Sound is amazing.

Hands down the best thing going for Dune is the stunning visuals from beginning to end. Director Denis Villeneuve compiled a beautiful collection of scenes that are truly a sight to see. One thing you’ll notice is how the cinematography seamlessly compliments so many elements in the film. Dune is so masterfully shot, that you could watch this movie on mute and still be entertained. Unlike the original film and the TV series, the plot was easy to follow. Despite the dense, sci-elements in the story, I appreciated the focused approach on only one group/family. It was helpful to explore this fantasy world and all the cool technology through the perspective of just a few characters. As a result, it doesn’t take long to have a sensible grasp of the underlying politics and motivations of various characters. Timothée Chalamet was exceptional as Paul Atreides. His performance made me care about his character’s journey and his potential growth. Oscar Isaac as Duke Leto was also great in his role. He presented such a stoic feel to his character that almost steals every scene he’s featured in. Jason Momoa as Duncan, totally badassery!!! While the role may have been small, this was right in Momoa’s lane especially when it came to his fight scenes. Of all of the roles, Stellan Skarsgård surprised me the most as The Baron. He was completely unrecognizable thanks to both his delivery and the Dune make up team. I'm looking forward to the next part!
