Not only does it have the old dark alliance feel, but it also brings together great elements from Dark Souls, and Gauntlet: DL. If you enjoyed the old games on PS2 and Game Cube you will have a blast with these.

Poor ability to rotate and face foes :-(

That's not a knock, just an observation. Control of Drizzt is very frustrating when trying to fight multiple foes since reorienting to face the foe you wish to attack is maddeningly slow when you're used to the perfect mechanics of HALO.

Two player fun

I don’t know how anyone could say that. Those games were fast paced, more like Diablo or Torchlight. This is not that at all. I like the visual style of this game but that’s it. The controls are clunky and have weird delays. Sometimes you press the trigger to attack and nothing happens. It’s like you have to press and release, count to 3, then you can press it again. It honestly makes me wonder if the developers have ever played an action game before. Like how could they make this game and not realize that the controls are totally off? I wasn’t expecting this to be the greatest game of all time but I was expecting it to at least be a competent game that would be fun enough to play through. It’s not worth more than $5. Luckily I was able to play on Gamepass before I unwrapped my disc copy. Returning it for a refund.
