My smoke alarms started chirping in the middle of the night and i could not get any sleep.Both because of the chirping and the imminent danger of non working smoke alarms. Got these the next morning at my friendly neighborhood best buy and i couldn't be happier, or safer. Safer is that right? Anyhoo chirping smoke alarms? Then get these.

Always need 9 volt batteries. I change all the backup batteries in the smoke detectors and these have a long life. I have used other brands but Duracell last longer. I looked at the Procell or the commercial version of Duracell but read reviews that found that although cheaper in bulk they don't last as long. I'm sticking with Duracell.

Good power much battery very impressive color scheme.

I'm old enough to have seen alkaline batteries first come out, then all the next generation stuff too. The Duracell was first in line, and for me is still the top. They come in fully charged and with a long life. We bought these for a rocket launcher (model rockets) and we were launching rockets immediately and long into the day.

It seems strange to write a review about batteries. Still, with a balance of price, life, power, and consistency, this is a sound product.

Went thru my whole house, counted up all the batteries I'd need and what kind for smoke alarms and carbon monoxide. Headed to Best Buy and bought all Duracell. They are the best, and they were on sale! You know what? I'm going to do it all over again in a year!

I was in need of a 9v for my Diamond tester at work and bestbuy, being the awesome company that they are had the solution to my problem at the end cap near the checkout area. Thank yo best you are the best! We love you and hope you keep being awesome!

Purchases are so easy at Best Buy. I literally walked in, didn't have to go any further than the front of the store then right in line. Being a best buy member also saves me money. Earning points and getting rewards is always a plus.

While I buy other brands of other size batteries for the 9 volts which go in places I can not easily get to so I rely on long life - I always prefer Duracell. I just look for a sale price on them as I have a very tight budget.

I think the Duracell Coppertop batteries are excellent batteries. I use them in all of my smoke detectors. They last a long time and you can't beat the five year guarantee.

I use these as back up batteries in my hard wired smoke detectors and in my exterior mounted wireless garage door openers with good results. I store extra batteries in the refrigerator to use as spares.

i rely on a good battery for my smoke detectors and CO detector to protect my family, i can always count on the duracell brand and shopping the convenience at best buy with the important rewards and great customer help mike9

I was sent a request to review a purchase of 9volt batteries. What can I say. They work like batteries and fit our fire alarms. We had a $5 off coupon & needed 9volt batteries, so we bought them here for a few dollars.

I have never had a problem with this brand. I use it in my smoke detectors and I know they work for at least 6 months of continuel use. I'm sure it could last longer but I'm in the habbit of replacing it twice a year.

What could be better than one of Duracell's finest 9V batteries? Two of them! The packaging is perfect, highly utilitarian and not all over the top like some Silicon Valley companies tend to be. A true classic.

Not much to add to a product that delivers time and time again - longer lasting indeed with regards to annual replacement. An improvement over other brands with respect to endurance - it gets the job done.
