Good battery quality & life / charger units go bad
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, the Duracell rechargable systems are fine, the batteries provide enough power and help save the environment. The only gripe I have is that I've purchased about 3-4 charger units. It seems that after a while, they stop working for some reason. So I'll have to get a new one periodically and the batteries will charge for several cycles, and then it seems like this pattern repeats. This is a problem with their chargers, not the batteries--but what use are the batteries when you can't charge them when you need to. The only way to get a charger is to buy a combo pack w/ batteries. That's why I can only give it 3 stars. It starts getting expensive as the charger units die off and you have to keep buying them. I have about two dozen batteries and about 3 or 4 chargers. Maybe 2 of them work...? I haven't checked them all, but I would guarantee you at least one does't charge the batteries--and they're all less than a year old. I'll recommend it for now, but this is annoying and makes it somewhat not worthwhile in my opinion and experience with these.

Good investment

Recharge plenty of times and work excellent with the 15-minute quick charger from Duracell. Love the two together.

Great rechargeable batteries for home phone

Great phones, but the battery life had really begun to suffer. While researching rechargeable AA batteries, I found these Duracell batteries with what seems to be high capacity and fairly long life. All of my phones have them now (3 total) and they work great!
