Game certainly shows signs of development apathy from such a long cycle. Outside of all the current bugs/glitches the game and the parkour makes this still a lot of fun to play.

A solid upgrade to the first game and a lot of fun to play. A short campaign is balanced by new game plus and a ton of side missions

I’m prefacing this review with the fact I’ve only played through the tutorial. But, after talking several hours to get through the tutorial, and the fact the busted coop has prevented me playing more, I thought it would be important to review. Game is probably actually great if it works, but it’s currently busted and the last patch that “fixed” the issue did not in fact “fix” the coop. My issue in particular - I either freeze up upon loading OR I get booted via disconnect from my friends game. Repeatedly. I’m playing in Halo Series X Xbox, and every other game has no issue with online play so it’s definitely this game. I have a full squad of friends I want to play with, and I can’t. It’s a super bummer and who knows when it will be fixed. Second, I feel like I can actually write a gameplay/story review because the tutorial is HOURS long for absolutely no reason. I’m thinking the devs believe the story is stronger than it is, but it is - not good. The whole flashback stuff includes perhaps the most annoying character since Claptrap. I have sat through many bad stories in games, but this is just so bad and the characters stink. Gameplay is fun and if you like single player, you’ll have fun. I’m not grading the game on gameplay, but in technical issues disallowing me to play with friends, along with a far too long tutorial and crappy characters

One of the most fun I have had recently with a game . Ton of content and awesome story .

This game was awesome!! Jumping around of the building, jump kick on zombie, hop on zombie head! That crazy game!! I love it!

This is probably the best game of the year. And I got the deluxe edition so it's awesome because of all the extras.

Even better than the first dying light. Gameplay and graphics are top notch. Definitely recommend playing this game

My son wanted this game for his bday now I am hooked as well. Awesome storyline and gameplay.

The 1st fun zombie game in a while. Graphics are great and story is mediocre but the overall gameplay makes this a must play.

Waited forever for this game to come and haven't been disappointed.

I love this game! Much better than the first in my opinion

I have looked forward to this game ever since it was announced 3/4 years ago! Very happy with the game they have created and given the fans of this franchise! Had a few bugs from what I have seen from people but I have not experienced a single one on my series x. Also nice to know that techland listens to the fans and have already made a bunch of improvements through updates. Definitely worth buying!
