    It does heat up and stops working... So, if you have a lot to shred at a time it will automatically stop shredding and force you to take a break! =)

    I am replacing an older model shredder. I like this ones ability to shred up to 10 sheets of paper at a time as well as being able to shred CD's and credit cards.

    Pretty good for the price. I'm enjoying it. Had one issue when my nephew tried to shred a whole magazine but it was easy to get shredder working again..thanks

    GREAT SHREDDER. CUTS CREDIT CARDS ALONG WITH MY PAPERS. PAPER FEED COULD BE A LITTLE BIGGER TO FEED PAPERS EASIER.

    This is an inexpensive shredder that is fully up to the task of handling the normal household load of mail and documents that simply cannot be recycled. If shredding continues past the point of filling the "bucket," the shredder could be vulnerable to jamming, but I didn't push it that far. At full bucket, I found it easy to clean the shredding "heads" and then continue shredding. So far I have found no design flaws or defects with this shredder.
