Bought this item and delivered. However, the machine didn't function. Had to return to the shop. Quality control is poor. Time wasted for delivery and returned to Best Buy.

had to return this item, it was priced right, but the noise from the shedder was too much.

The shredder I bought from Best Buy does not work. At all. Period. It shreds nothing. When I try to feed paper in, nothing happens.

It is average shredder , I bought because of discount, otherwise it doesn't cost so much

The opening to place the paper for shredding needs to be a bit bigger. Difficult to feed paper in.

Try something else. You will unhappy with this if you shred more than just a few sheets

i would not recommend this product! This product cost too much for the value that you are getting. I would recommend going with a totally different brand.

This is a solid shredder at a value price. Perfectly ok with 6 sheets or less. Starts to struggle a bit 7-9 sheets. 10 sheets is technically possible, but it really bogs down. Will shred CD's, credit cards, etc. A little on the loud side, but given the price I would buy this again.

I wasn't sure about this brand because it wasn't a well known office brand for shredders but I thought I'd try it, especially for the price. So I put this shredder through its paces and kept shredding for about two hours. Giving it about 30 seconds rest after shredding for about 5 minutes. It did not overheat or jam up once and worked fantastic. Its maximum is 10 sheets so I thought I would push the limit. I just shredded 13 sheets with a staple and it worked fine. Not super fast of course but it chewed right through the paper. I wouldn't recommend doing this as a rule, but I thought I'd try it out. Also I do put in whole pieces of junk mail without opening, obviously with a reasonable thickness of about 7 sheets, and it shreds them without a problem. Excellent machine!

Gave this as a gift to my mom- when it arrived- it looked like it was used and did not work- my mom had to return it a store near her- embarrassing !

I have had this shredder for 2 years now and it hasn't skipped a beat. Will handle credit cards and CD's with ease. Have at times done more than 10 sheets (it does have a narrow slot so you can't over load it to much which is a good thing) and it keeps on going. Would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking for a shredder. Can't beat the price either.

Replaced an old Fellows shredder that was replaced 2X under warranty. This shredder makes my old one sound like a wood chipper, now I can shred at night and not wake up the dead. The receptacle could be bigger, but then again that would increase the costs. So far I have shred 3 bankers boxes full of papers. Although the shredder states that I can shred up to 10 pages at a time, I shredded 5 or less because the paper I was shredding was a heaver weight than your standard copy paper (I believe it is 40lb bond). The handle on top makes it easier to remove the shredder from the receptacle. I am quite happy with my purchase, only time will tell if it holds up. This is for a home use and not business so it should last. I just need to remember to do the once a month maintenance of drizzling some cooking oil on a couple of sheets of paper and then running them through the shredder to keep it lubed.

I bought this document shredder machine back in 2015!!! And today being Nov 23 2022!!! STILLS WORKING LIKE NEW!!! ALL IS SAID!!!.

I had it for over six montha now and it works perfectly fine. Cuts about 6-8 sheets maximum. It rarely stuck. Easy to use and clean and it's safe.

Nice paper shredder gets the job done effectively. Even better purchased it on sale and used my rewards coupons so I got this at a steal.

I have had this since October 2014 and have used it all the time. I have had no issues with paper jams or stopping in the middle of shredding.

Dynex usually does not make the best third party store brands for Best Buy, but for the price this one is ok until it stops working.

purchased online when it was deal of the day on 6/11/15. went out of town and when I came back to pick It up I was told that the order was cancelled but drew told me let me see what I can do for you. He spoke with the manager and he agreed to honor the sale price. good job drew and thanks to that manager which authorized the transaction to be completed.

this thing has some good features, easy to use and empty. But it makes way too much noise and works too slowly, especially for all the noise. Also sometimes stops because paper is not perfectly centered. NOT a good deal
