I'm a novice at this whole Home Theater setup stuff, but I recently upgraded from a Sony DAV-HDX265 HTIB system, and since the speakers had proprietary connectors, I had to rewire them to my new Pioneer VSX-819H. I bought this wire because it was cheap. Never having spliced before, I used a pair of scissors and a box cutter. I had enough wire to do 5.1 surround in my small, living room. I just ran the wire along the room's moulding, since I have no idea how to do a proper wiring job. Therefore, I dislike the ugly, bronze wire insulation since it's completely visible. In any case, the sound is fine. I was nervous that my Sony HTIB speakers wouldn't work, but they do, and probably sound a bit clearer. In the near future, I hope to: a) use the leftover wire to set up my Polk Audio PSW10 subwoofer according to Option #2, and b) to pick up a set of Polk Audio RM6750 satellites to replace my HTIB speakers. Never had a problem with Dynex; would recommend this product to a friend.

I have no complaints about the wire except you had to really look to fine the small print on one line so you could ID +/- from each other. I thought the cost was a little high but had nothing to compare it to. I wired several rooms with it from my zone control and the sound is good in each room.

Used this to wire up my home theater. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they did the job. You can buy better, but why!? Unless you are concerned about interference I wouldn't bother with the more high gauge cable.

Bought this wire to run my surround sound speakers to the back side of a rather long family room. Wire was easy to run, and works very well. If I could say anything negative, it would be that I would have liked to have had wire that was white (the wire I got was clear - so it looks like copper). But I knew this wasn't white when I bought it - and that the competitor's white wire was considerably more expensive. This does the job very well at a much better price, and that's what was important to me.

I highly recommend it. Works great. Easy to splice and fits into smaller areas.

This is great wire. I would not trust an inferior grade to give me the same sound in my theater room!

this prouduct works great. im only 1- but it works. it delivers good quality sound its very loud.

good stuff.. good price... it can be difficult to know polarity on longer runs.. I had to tie one side to ground and use a meter to know which side was which ... wire should have been marked during mfg process.

With only this clear coated wire, or a more expensive off- white colored wire that was more expensive to choose from, I chose this... The less expensive and less attractive clear coated wire (it looks to be a shade of pink). It works to carry the electrical signal that produces the sound for my DTS system.

This was used to connect my rear speakers when setting up a surround sound system at my business. I needed to use this as the rear speakers did not have a wireless connection. The cable worked fine.

This speaker wire should definitely do the job in a modest home theater system.

We got this to hook up our new tv to our surround sound system and had no issues.

The price is fair the sound quality for a big room is not very good
