needed an optical cord that is longer than the usual 6ft cords that can cost up to $25, since i am running a new optical cord through a chase in the wall to hide all of my component cords. Needed a long optical cord, and you cannot beat this price at all for a 12ft optical cord. What i did not like what that it did not click into place into my sound bar. While it works as long as no one touches anything, it should fit much tighter as a typical optical cable.

This cable is 8 foot long compared to most that are 3 or 6 foot long. I can tell you the 2 foot extra makes it a lot easier to move the sound bar when dusting. The 6 foot had to be disconnected to dust and I was concern disconnecting excessively would degrade the connection. Now we move easily to dust.

If you are looking for a replacement of your digital optical audio cable this is the one. At first I was a little skeptical but then once I put it to work it totally changed my perspective. Great product and it works perfectly.

This cable worked fine and the price was great. I actually have to return this because I thought 8 feet was enough to run from my TV mounted on the wall through the wall and out the bottom and back up a bit to the soundbar which is on top of the entertainment center.

Since the price was so fantastic I was concerned that the quality of the picture would suffer but I was wrong the picture is excellent which means to me, if I'm watching a movie and it appears as if it is a live show that I am watching, not a film presentation

I didn't want to spend a whole lot for optical cable and I found this one. It works great and I like the length.

Great cable for the price. Relatively inexpensive item that connects my new 4K TV to my older dts/ multi channel Onkyo receiver. TV automatically switches between toslink and high speed HDMI ARC link for best sound.

Replaced earlier optical cable that must have busted creating static. Was worried about the quality since it was so much cheaper than other models. No worries. Clear crisp sound after connecting TV to my Bose system. Excellent value.

This Dynex cable at 8' in length and under five dollars is a great value, costing at least ten dollars or less than other cables. My sound bar sounds good, and no different than when I have used other somewhat more costly optical audio cables.

Easy choice for a cost effective longer optical cable for TV to sound bar connection for an entertainment center where the provided 3' one isn't long enough. Works well and costs a lot less than the other choices.

Needed a longer one than the one that was provided with my sound bar because I was hiding it in the wall since the tv is mounted on the wall. This one was soooo much cheaper than all the other ones and works just the same.

I bought this optical audio cable for such an affordable price and it serves its purpose in a great way. Usually you will not find at the store but you can order online & get it store picked. highly recommend it

Good value. Does the job at hand without breaking the bank and is a solid length as most of this style of cord I have come across have been very short.

I used this cable to hook up my new Insignia soundbar to my TV. It works perfectly. No reason to spend many times more money on a fancy gold plated cable when this one does the job just fine.

Why pay two or three times as much for a cable, when this does the job just fine? I haven't seen any downsides to this cheaper cable yet, and the quality still seems great.
